I used this yesterday and it worked great. Get a can of marker spray paint, load it in, and roll it down the log. Very handy tool. Would recommend to anyone who cuts firewood. It's a must have tool. Your stacks of would will look nice.

It worked great. Marking logs to cut into firewood.

It works as advertised. The marks are within an acceptable range of accuracy with cuts between 15 1/2" - 16 1/2". In the past I have used a 16 in stick I cut and a lumber marking crayon. This is much faster and requires considerably less bending over. I gave it 4 stars because it is just plastic (for $40), though sturdy enough for the job at hand. Wish I had purchased it sooner to save my time and my back.

This thing works incredibly well new at being a homesteader. You need to cut my own wood. Really like how this works. Unique woodstove in the fact that it takes a particular size and I wanted to be just under that so the right and this thing works very well, you can measure and cut all the wood by yourself without needing an extra hand

People mention the lack of accuracy in this tool, I can tell you without a doubt that they are experiencing user error. The wheel on the tool is exactly 16". Since the wheel is used to measure your wood, and the trigger does not move, your marks will be exactly at 16" in every time; if used correctly. Some people also do not cut perpendicularly through their logs which also gives them an inaccurate cut. Long story short, this tool is just as accurate as you need it to be.

I love my mingo marker! Using the mingo marker cuts off approximately 30 minutes of the time it takes me to cut a load of firewood. Without the mingo it took me about 4 hours now it only takes me 3.5 hours so I would say it was worth the investment. Plus it makes marking your tree hastle free, the days of using a cheater stick are a thing of the past!
