THIS!!!! OMG DID THIS THING COME I HANDI!!!! I bought this because I had a dead battery a few Mondays in a row. Being a single lady and grandmother I just don't have the help I used to when having car problems. It took me just minutes to jump my car the next time it was dead. But when it really helped was when my car died at an intersection in bad traffic. People started honking, like I didn't want to be moving, duh! I grabbed this little jump box popped my hood, hooked it up jumped my car and drove away all in one light. And while I was freaking out a bit.

Excellent tool. I had a failing battery and used this to jump start it 4 times and still had 70% charge left. This is so much easier than using a second vehicle to jump the battery. I also recently moved 600 miles away from family and friends so being able to do this myself is a huge plus and offers me some peace of mind knowing I won't be stranded with a dead battery.I wish the cords were a little longer (for clamping the negative wire to bare metal) and it would be nice to include the wall plug in the base model. For the price though it's well worth it as-is.

I bought this device shortly after I found myself stranded on the driveway of my cabin in the boondocks with a dead battery. I had to call AAA, and wait over an hour plus to get help. The driver had a portable charger. He connected to the battery terminals and, within 30 seconds, my truck was running again. Made it to the auto-part store, got a new battery...THE END. That same afternoon, after that morning's adventure and freak-out, I decided to get a portable jumper on Amazon for "next time". I found this SHARMEAL model for 29 bucks...SOLD! Fast forward to today. I am in a business parking lot minding my own business when this lady is walking around asking people for help because her battery is dead. She parked nose in, in a double row--where access was impossible with cables unless her car was pushed out to the middle of the parking lot. ME TO THE RESCUE! Wondering if this power jump starter would do the job at all. At first she looked at me suspiciously, asking herself how this weirdo holding the black and orange little case would be able to help her at all. I explained. Turned it on, connected it to her battery, let it charge for a few seconds, asked her to give it a go and....SURE ENOUGH, Her car started right away! She couldn't believe it. She took a photo of it with her phone, and asked where I got it. I told her. I believe you'll get a new customer. You are welcome, Sharmeal! Awesome purchase. It is ironic that I didn't get to use it on my truck the first time but...I am very pleased to know it does the job. My only observation about this product is this: It does not include a 110 v. wall adapter for the USB cable. Otherwise, perfect. It includes a built in little compass (okay!) and a flashlight. I am glad I bought it.

Works well and as described but does lose a good 20-30% charge on jumping a standard auto 6cyl., (no reference on multiple attempts as test vehicle started easily on first try despite being at near 10% charged) but still an excellent value when was on discount, a potential disaster saving item when no one is available to jump start, and may actually buy a second unit though possibly with increased capacity.

Shipping was very fast and the product arrived in perfect condition. I was surprised by how compact and easy to use it is. The light is quite bright, ideal for emergencies. It charges multiple mobile devices without any issues and works perfectly to jump-start my vehicle's battery. Came fully charged and jumped my car easily on the first try. Complete lifesaver and you can't beat the price. Recharging does take some time, so recommend charging overnight if planning to use it. But the jump doesn't even take much out of the pack. Used it 3 times and knocked the battery % down to 80%, which isn't bad. This should be in everyone's car emergency kit

AWESOME SIMPLY AWESOME I am one of those people that believe more is better so I picked up the 5000 amp unit. went camping in the desert and needed to use the unit it worked flawlessly. I'm going to tell you right now if you don't get one that's a big mistake.

I checked the charge level and then proceeded to jump 2 cars straight out the package. Worked wonderful. I will say, further directions need to be included on how to properly charge this device. A USB power adapter needs to be utilized that has a 5v - 2.0amp output. Carefully read all your old cellphone adapters as some of the older ones(slower ones) may work to charge this device. The newer quick chargers will not work for this device. Once I figured that out it was easy to get the device to charge all though it does so slowly. Read the fine print on your power adapters.
