Push-fit Quick Connect Fittings 1/4" to 1/4", 1/4" to 3/8" for Water Filters Water Purifer Faucet Adapter

I ordered an auto-shutoff fill valve for my coffee maker and they supplied a 1/4" waterline coupler/reducer that leaked no matter what I tried (thread tape, no thread tape, o-ring, no o-ring, etc.) and sent me on a wild goose chase trying to make the connector usable, so I needed to find a better option.This one works exactly as it should. I have noticed any leaks and it seems like they used high quality materials. And it ultimately saved me from having to use multiple connection points which will help to reduce the potential for leaks in the future. I never thought I'd have so much to say about a plumbing fitting, but here we are.

Based on the suggested usage in the description, it would seem that this would fit a water supply faucet. It doesn't. This will only fit a threaded pipe. Otherwise it seems to be a quality adapter.
