I have a special needs adult male in my household and I bought this compact fanny pack for him to carry just his cell phone and wallet. Other fanny packs are loo large and complicated for him because they have too many zippers and compartments and so he frequently cannot find what he is looking for. This Fanny pack is almost perfect—since it’s much smaller and has only two compartments, he doesn’t “loose” items so easily. He soils everything easily and so I purchased two of these to rotate—one to wear when the other is in the wash. I have washed and dried them in the dryer several times and they are holding up fine. They are durable.I have two complaints. One is that after adjusting the size to fit him, the buckle slips and so they easily and repeatedly get too big. I solved that by using a safety pin to prevent the buckle from sliding to a wider position. My other complaint, which is not a bad thing about the fanny pack—is that I really wish it had only one compartment with a single zipper so it was even more simple for him to use. I reduced one star because of the belt slipping all the time.
