Great item. Easy to install, and I have had no issues. Improved performance by a long shot. There is no way I will ever use this much storage

Excellent drive. Decent amount of storage and works well on my Asus motherboard. I've bought many of these and have never had a problem.

A while back I decided that I was going to recondition a Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition. I decided that I was going to be replacing the Samsung drives inside of it. I needed more space and Samsung's drives have been plagued with issues the last while. Western digital has always been pretty good to me. Their drives while not the fastest, have always had a very long lifespan. I still have some of their hdds running IDE all these years later. I decided that I was going to make use of both SSD slots and that I wanted something that was lower wattage to help with heat. Enter the SN7100. These are possibly the king of low wattage gen 4 drives. They are very quick and they generate next to no heat. For example, when I was using dual 970 evo plus modules from samsung the heat they would throw would be around 63C, with these SN7100s the heat doesn't budge from 35C under load. They stay cool and they have been taking music, movies, an entire steam library. Everything. If you can think of it they can handle it. Amazing drives at an amazing price. WD delivers, as per usual. Now let's see how long they last.

Excellent. It works as intended. Very fast, easy to install. It fits with my b660M-A AC D4Also as it has 2 m_1 and m_2 of the same quality I can get the max. speed it because it is compatible with it. Also, setting it on windows was very fast and all went wok, The driver is of good quallity.

I'm a fan of WD products, so I bought this to install in my laptop for extra storage. Got a great deal on Prime Day! I installed the drive with no problems at all. It's a speedy little bugger too! Very happy so far.

I was hesitant to install this myself as I’ve never even opened a laptop. The installation was super easy. There were a few steps I had to take for the laptop to read the new drive, but that was easy as well. So far, everything is working.I moved my games from my smaller drive to this new drive and everything loaded up quickly.I played for about an hour and no issues this far.I use Steam on an Alienware M17 R5 AMD Laptop.

Been a fan of WD since the early 90s and this didn't disappoint one bit. Worked right of the box with my new build. Great valie for the price. Nice quality and while cooling is certinaly more than just the drive itself I have had nothing but cool temps for the drive as well. Great speeds as well. I will likely get another.
