Work great with 2012 MacBook Pro and a 2017 MacBook Air connecting to HDMI on TV. Overall quality is good, but outer case is plastic and does not feel as sturdy as some of the aluminum car adapters that I own. However, it functions perfectly. Two at this price is good deal.

I have a MacBook Pro 2015 and did not want to have to buy a newer laptop just to be able to use dual displays. Since I do not have a C port, I bought C to USB port adapter and bought a dual HDMI adapter per the adapter manufacturer's advice. It did not work. I bought another option through another company, and that did not work. I bought these as my last try, and they work beautifully! No instructions, no downloading software, no checking for latest operating system. I had spent $40 - $75 for those other options, and for a fraction of the price, I received 2 adapters that works with my thunderbolt 2 ports and had dual displays running in 2 seconds. Great value, great product, and the easiest to use.

I’m always concerned when I have use an adapter but this works perfectly. Exactly what I needed and less expensive than a whole new cable.

I have an older iMac and I use this to connect it to a second monitor. Works great, and I have no problems using it.
