I prefer 'cleaner' household products and this is the only dishwasher soap I'll use - this particular one, other types from this brand and others are inferior. We have a newish dishwasher that's supposed to clean the dirtiest dishes to sparkling, but will not unless I use this soap. It is worth any extra cost that you feel you'd be spending. Try it.

No stickiness or smells! The most important thing for me was not scent while the dishes still being clean. Perfect! Lasting a while too. I think all dish pods leave residue to some degree but this seems maybe a little better and certainly not worse than the typical store brands. I will keep buying these.
