Perfect for all ages, being able to read is not required!
This game is precious! There are a lot of pieces but it's packaged and made well and the pieces make sense. The rules are easy enough to follow that with a little help the first few rounds my youngest played and had fun. For simplicity we kept the scoring to just counting pinecones since my kids are younger. My kids really enjoyed it and told me that they liked the pictures and thought they were relaxing.Better than some other board games I've attempted to play with my kids. Being able to read is not a requirement to play.

Great game!
We have not played the original version of Cascadia yet so I won't compare the two. This is a lovely game for younger kids, I'd say ages 4-8, that being said, as an adult I really enjoy playing it with them, it isn’t tedious or boring like some other kid's games. The components are good quality and really cute. It teaches kids strategy and gives them a little connection with nature. It has great replay value.

Great game, components could be better
This game is very nice and relaxing, and we love playing it with our son (4.5 years old). The only thing I don't like are paper habitat boards - why not cardboard? It doesn't make sense to have such a fragile element in a board game for kids.

Great introduction of Cascadia game to kids!
Love the game. It's an easier (and faster) version of regular Cascadia game. But we got a couple of question where the rules are not clear.

Well done!
Adorable game that leads the youngsters right into playing the full Cascadia game! Easy to start with simple rules and add a new challenge as the kids progress in their learning of the game. This is fun for adults and kids alike!

Really fun junior version of the game Cascadia
This game is great! It's beautiful and a nice adjustment down to being a junior version of the full game. I will say it was easier to learn having played the full game and I wonder if it would feel a little too confusing for new players without the background. Overall I found the pacing good. It's a good price value for a simpler version.

Cute!
This is a very cute, cuddly tile placement game that's so simple it's almost brain-dead. You put down tiles and three connected of the same terrain and/or animals scores you points. And... that's it. No, really! That's it!The theme is carried off beautifully with wonderful artwork, much nicer than regular Cascadia. However, it's almost the same price and more random, so "serious" gamers are sure to turn up their nose at the randomness of scoring tokens. For myself, I just can't see wanting to buy this instead of Kingdomino which is less random (no hidden information), more strategic, and somehow even simpler (and cheaper!).Other big flaws are that there are WAY too many tokens for this game. You just need to put down three markers and take a scoring token, there's no need for there to be so many types to put into stacks, nor is there really a need for separate scoring tokens and player boards at all. If you only play with Side A of the animal cards there's no need for those either. So really, it has a bigger presence and visible complexity than needed for such a simple game.If you want to play with kids I would suggest trying Dragomino first to see if you like it better. For adults I would suggest Kingdomino. For people who want something a tad more advanced probably regular Cascadia or QueenDomino.
