Great add-on to my MacMini 4. I also bought additional storage (SSD) which was easy to install to Satechi Dock. So far, I am very satisfied with the Satechi Dock as it also provides additional USB slots.

Satechi did an awesome job with this hub, it looks like it came with the Mac Mini, having USB-A ports on the front is great for anyone having legacy devices that need this style of port, instead of using adaptors. Keep in mind that the Mac Mini does not attach to the hub, it only sits on top of it, but I found that a little strip of Velcro keeps it from sliding around. I installed a NVMe SSD into the dock (1TB) for extra storage, and for Time Machine to seamlessly back up to. I think Satechi knocked it out of the park with this hub. I only gave it four stars because it arrived in an open box, I don't mind buying open box items, but it would of been nice to know this ahead of time, so essentially it was a used item and usually there is some kind of discount for open box items. Other than that I would highly recommend it, it really declutters your desk area, and adds a lot of functionality. Just buy it, you won't regret it!

Very nice fit and finish on this. Connectivity to my mini Mac with no issue and functions and works perfectly. Was able to add an additional storage space and maximize the mini Mac even more.

The dock is simply excellent. After being wowed by the m4 variant I want back and got the m2 sized version for my m2 Mac mini as well. That one is also excellent.The additional drive bay in particular is an amazing value add.It also makes the power button experience on these new minis much more logical.

Perfect finishing. Matches the Mini 100% in color, size and shape. It allows me to expand the somehow limited Mini connectivity. It works as expected, fast an easy to setup.

Big part of getting this was so I could replace my external Time Machine drive with one in this enclosure. And it works well for that (popped in a WD SN850X 2TB).USB-A ports are nice too (for legacy peripherals). Power button notch is convenient. Seems well-manufactured. And like how it matches look of Mini itself.Only thing I'd improve is making it hold the Mini more snuggly (so it doesn't slide around as easily when I plug/unplug cords or push the power button).

The product works and looks nice… I didn’t give a full 5 stars because I bought a new item and it came in a very obviously opened box (see image).But, other than that I like the product and it seems to work as advertised.
