Worth every penny! These worked on my old wooden deck. Used underneath so probably not as damaged as the wood in full sunlight. But the surface was not very smooth and they remained in place. I followed the directions-don't hang anything until at least an hour after installing the clips. Photo doesn't show clip exactly but the lights are hanging from the clips.

Perfect for consolidating and hiding indoor cords. Meant for outside but worked perfectly for my indoor needs. practically invisible!

Just be warned that even though they show a retail package it comes in a bulk white envelope with Command logos on it. The retail package is much nicer for using a few now and storing it in a drawer and knowing what it is at a later date. Amazon should update the picture to have a proper disclosure.I’m sure the command product will be great like all the other Command products I have used over the years.

The media could not be loaded. Used these to hang my solar heart string lights (which are also found on amazon)! They adhered perfectly to my painted cinderblock, after cleaning the area with isopropyl alcohol, which is what it asks you to use - so make sure you have it handy. We just used individually wrapped ones that came in our first aid kit. Not a single one has fallen or budged and its been about a week. Was fun to install. Says to put it around every 2 feet of string lights, if I remember correctly. They work great! They are clear and I am so focused on the lights, I forget they are there.

I bought these to hang string lights on my patio awning. I got half way done and some of the clips came off. I pressed them back in place and started to hang the rest of the lights. More clips came off. I pressed those back on and continued. I got the string lights up and figured I'd need more of them. I came in and ordered more. When I went back outside, all of my lights were on the ground. I cancelled the order for more. Don't waste your money on these things. They're a waste of money and don't hold at all! Sorry I got screwed buying them.

I have read a lot of reviews about it failing. Make sure you clean the area with rubbing alcohol before applying. I wonder if people aren't doing this or using a product like windex that has ammonia that might be a problem with adhesion. I have used them to hang lights on my deck railing and so far in the heat of summer and a black railing these are holding firm. last pack I ordered was a four pack only got one....
