ASICS Men's GEL-Venture 3 Trail Running Shoe

Easy to order Asics off the internet because they are always true to size. Sometimes the selection here at local stores is limited--that is why we ordered these off the internet. We got the color and style we wanted without running all over town. These shoes have good traction on them. My husbands stands/walks on concrete or gravel all day. We also walk the dogs on gravel or dirt trails daily. These shoes are comfortable for him and don't make his feet too hot either. Also they are comfortable right out of the box, no break in period needed. These shoes will last about 6-7 months (he will wear them about everyday).

Ive been wearing nikes and adidas most of my life when it comes to running shoes. Nikes do have comfort with that air max feature and do look juicy but a guy in shoe carnival told me that asics gel may not b as popular as nike or look as kool but theyre defintely more comfortable cuz the whole sole of the shoe is filled with air but not only that I felt like I could jump over passing cars and run for miles. Asics gel are highly underrated and definately are a very durable high quality very comfortable affordable shoe. Try the gel today and hear what I say.

Bought these because I was on vacation with my son and he showed up with these. I wore them once and liked the fit so much I ordered them on line. They came in and fit beautifully. Would recommend these to anyone looking for a light weight shoe with great comfort.

The shoes are great. I got this package on time. The shoes are good. Very good for trail running. I am just a greenhorn, so I cannot add anything more than that.Cons: The only disadvantages I face are:1. The laces go away all the time, so I have to stop in the middle of my run to tie them which can be annoying sometimes.Other than that no complaints.

True to size, lightweight, and very well made athletic shoes. I was so impressed with these I bought a pair for myself (This initial purchase was for my teenage son). They looked so good in person I figured "what the heck, I like the color and design", so I ordered another pair right away. The color combination works well if you are using these for exercising, or just accompanied with regular shorts, or jeans. I was so used to the traditional white tennis shoes that I never thought I'd wear orange and dark grey shoes. As for comfort, they are more so than my Merrill's that I covet and wear almost daily. The build quality is excellent, and did I mention how light these things are. You almost catch yourself looking down to see if you are wearing shoes at all. I think ASICS needs a better marketing department, they are under-rated in my opinion, and the price is half that of the competitors offerings.

Great shoes. They hold up very well for every day and hiking use.

To start with, for as long as I can remember I've worn nothing but New Balance footwear. I walk an average of 25 miles per week and do about the same distance on my bike. This shoe is very comfortable and true to size. Very little to no break in time. The gel in the heal is a great feature. To be honest, I have another pair of Asics (Gel-Fortitude 5) that has a gel heal and sole and is twice the price. The Venture 3 is as good as the Fortitude 5 for comfort and it has a better sole. The only drawback is that it only comes in black with red trim or black with orange trim. I will never put on another pair of N B as long as they keep making Asics.
