Bitter indeed
This is a mix with many very strong flavors, but the bitterness is what comes through the most. It’s not pleasant and to me, definitely requires ice in order to even sip it. I don’t get the lemon and lime and citrus promises. All I get is bitter unpleasantness. Hopefully you will enjoy it more than I did.

Herby + light citrus + pleasantly bitter
Both my husband and I really enjoyed these. He said, in fact, "This is exactly what I want out of a non-alcoholic beverage".For me, I typically enjoy gin-based drinks that are not too sweet. I also enjoy drinking tonic water (on its own). I like herbal. I like bitter. And I like citrus, and this is all of those. When it's cold, it's refreshing. These are definitely a hit-or-miss beverage. But, I have found most of the non-alcoholic bevvies I've tried are hit or miss. For me, it's a 5-star drink, and I would order this with my meal. So, there are definitely people I would recommend this to, and there are many people I wouldn't. If you enjoy a similar flavor profile as me, this might be a good fit. If you don't like bitter + herbal, you might want to move along.

Tasted different then what was expected
Me and my husband were not a fan of this. It tasted differently then what was described. It wasn't "notes of lemon and lime" it was actually really hard to decipher what it tasted like but it wasn't pleasant.

Not for me
This Lapo's Citrus Spritz comes in a four-pack of 8 ounce cans. It's very difficult for me to describe the flavor. So I'll comment on the description on the product page to try to help you determine if this is the drink for you. It says it's nonalcoholic, pleasantly bittersweet, and herbaceous. It is indeed nonalcoholic. It's not bittersweet - it's bitter. It is decidedly herbaceous. It is in no way pleasant. It says its flavor is a citrus-forward medley of lemon, lime, and orange with notes of juniper and thyme. I tasted no citrus in this except for a mostly hidden citrus medley desperately trying to make itself tasted through a lot of - something herbal. The ingredients are, in this order: water, organic cane sugar, gentian root extract, lime juice, Szechuan pepper extract, capsicum extract, natural tequila flavor, clove extract, pectin, lime extract, bitter orange extract, lemon juice, juniper extract, vanilla bourbon extract, rhubarb root extract, smoked sea salt, thyme extract, and orange extract. The third ingredient is gentian root extract, which is a bitter herb used for medicinal purposes, and in Europe is used in aperitifs to aid in digestion. It's also an ingredient in cocktail bitters additives. I've never tasted it before, but I have to assume that's the primary flavor in this beverage, since this drink tastes like medicine. A rather bitter and bad-tasting medicine. Even though the second ingredient is sugar, it didn't even have a hint of sweet in it. It contains two peppers but was not the slightest bit peppery. To me this drink tastes of, I assume, gentian root with notes of juniper and thyme. And maybe the rhubarb for good measure to add extra bitterness. That's about it in a nutshell, except to add that it's vegan-friendly, gluten-free, carbonated, and 70 calories per can. Both my husband and I took a taste, then a second. Then poured the rest into the sink. I've had a number of mocktails, but nothing this shockingly medicinal and herbal. This is definitely an acquired taste. Lapo's might have just the bitter, herbal flavor you're looking for. But it's definitely not for me.

Best in a glass; label discrepancies
This Citrus Spritz tastes very different when drinking straight from the can versus in a glass, highly recommend chilling and pouring it out of the can to sip on to fully enjoy the unique flavor. That said, there seems to be some major labelling discrepancies with the product I received. The Nutrition Facts and ingredients list on the can differs from the information printed on the box, and the description in the listing here sounds like it's referring more to what's printed on the box (spicy, notes of lemon and lime) versus what's actually in the can. Photo attached as this information is currently absent from the product details. If you're buying this based on the description, double check the ingredients shown on the can before committing to it!

Really great citrusy drink!
Lapo's Citrus Spritz is interesting!I've been looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic option that actually feels like a proper grown-up drink, and this totally hits the mark. It's got this bright, zesty citrus flavor that's just perfect for a sunny day or when you want something a bit special without the alcohol. All in all, if you're trying to cut back on booze or just want a delicious NA option, you have to try these. They're super convenient in a can, making them great for picnics, barbecues, or just chilling at home!

Herbal bitter grapefruity
Did not taste the lemon, lime and orange as described on the packaging. Flavor seemed to be more of a herbal bitter grapefruit- which definitely grew on us the more we drank it! Would say it's an acquired taste, like a real alcoholic beer would be.

Powerfully Bitter But Also Refreshing.
This was a strange experience. With bitters you expect, well, bitter. But you'd normally mix these with something. The cans say "ready to drink" but if you do so be prepared for a powerful bitterness. It's also a nice hit of lovely, strong, citrus at the same time, kind of odd.I was able to kind of bail it out by using it as the base for a sweet "mocktail" of my own invention. I basically added some drops of liquid stevia and that helped a ton, and I poured some diet sprite and a spritz of lime juice in there. Once I doctored it, I'd say it was pretty good. But, in my opinion this is in no way a good drink straight from the can.Quality wise you can tell these were well made, etc. But when the taste isn't there, the value for money proposition is quite challenging. Especially at nearly $20 (normal price as of now, but they have a coupon.)
