Can i use this chalk for deadlifting?

I am a little older lifter. However, the chalk allows me to lift heavier weights without straps. I use it especially for deadlift.

How easy is it to wash off? If I start with deadlifts and move to machines after I don't want my hands to stay white

Is the chalk white or pink? Also does the bottle have a hole for a carabineer or not (the product images show two different colors/packages)?

Is it possible to get just a thin layer of it, not white hands? I need it for pole dance and don't want too much.

Our chalk does make a mess: shake well the bottle, apply a small amount of chalk on the palm, rub hands together and allow to dry completely.
