Bad quality
Just about did the job.The locking wing nuts holding the black pieces of the tool are extremely poor quality.The thread is easy to break, it unscrews itself under pressure and the black pieces turn when you tighten them.Spacers provided with wing nuts quickly deform too.Cheap price, worse quality.Worked okay to unscrew the pump, to fit it back in was a different story. Kept unscrewing nearly every single time I tried to screw the pump in, until ultimately the thread started going.What should have been an easy few minutes job was a torture with this tool, barely got it done before it destroyed itself.

Did not fit 2008 BMW 3 Series
Shipping and everything was fine. It's a pretty simple tool but because of the shape of the feet it did not fit my 2008 diesel BMW 3 Series.I'm sure it would work fine on a tank seal it fitted better on.

It works
Worked perfectly on my Mk1 TT fuel sender (fuel pump assembly) when tightening to make a fuel tight seal.

Not Good
Only average construction...The legs do not get enough grip on the pump retainer cap..as the slots are not deep enough..also the legs slip on the slides and spread apart too easily. i had to do a lot of modifications to get it to work. Not suitable unless you are prepared to do some tricky welding and grinding. i would not buy this had i known...spend a little more money on a better quality tool

Threads wer worn on one side, it would not tighten so kept slipping instead of gripping
