A Pro Handyman's View: Excellent & Versatile Design, Good Build Quality, OK Price
I'm both a graduate degree'd engineer who greatly appreciates well designed tools and also the owner of a handyman business who uses his tools daily to earn a living. With that as background ...I've been adjusting doors by bending hinge knuckles for a couple of years. For most of that time my tool of choice for this job was a small pair of Knipex Cobra pliers with bicycle inner tube rubber slipped over the jaws to reduce scratching on the hinge. Fairly recently I got a dedicated tool for this job that's shown in my attached photo. This tool is CNC milled from a solid billet of aluminum and has done a decent job the handful of times I've used it. I wanted to try this "adjustable wrench" style knuckle bender by Finsbury for a couple of reasons, namely that the CNC'ed tool is slow to use due to needing to clamp it onto each knuckle to be adjusted by tightening an allen screw and the tool itself is both short and uncomfortable to use due to the many sharp edges. The Finsbury knuckle adjuster appears to be a standard mid-quality adjustable wrench that's had its' jaws profiled to fit on a residential hinge knuckle. It's very quick and easy to adjust onto a knuckle, the tool-dip handle is very comfortable in use and the length is more than sufficient for the job of bending an individual hinge knuckle. To use this tool the hinge pin must be removed and knuckles bent individually, while many similar tools slip over the entire hinge and bend all the knuckles at once. Bending the knuckles individually takes more time, but puts far less stress on the user of the tool, the hinge, the door jam and the door. I definitely prefer the one knuckle at a time approach. The Finsbury knuckle bender appears to have started life as a mid-quality adjustable wrench that's had it's jaws reworked to fit a residential hinge. Although this level of build quality would bother me in an adjustable wrench, it's more than adequate for the job of bending hinge knuckles. Really my only nit to pick with this tool is the price, which is perfectly reasonable for a tool of this quality and the function performed, but there are very similar famous name brand tools with additional functionality (a hinge pin remover) available for about $1 more. Still, this is a better than decent tool at a decent price that'll get the job done.

Best type of
Worked well on standard traditional american door hinges in my home. Another, that has a wider sleeve that slips over entire hinge I found did not work as well as this adjustable 'Crecent wrench' type.

Works as intended
I have a large front door and the hinges are just a bit thicker than ones that are for bedroom/bathroom doors and using a plain adjustable wrench was not working. I reluctantly purchased this based on the described functionality and not on the price or the iffy/so-so reviews.Well, I was exceptionally surprised that it worked. Although the short length of the tool did require a bit more umph on my part, it did what it was designed for. As far as durability, I've only used it on a handful of doors and it didn't break.Another tool added to the homeowner's toolbox!

Works well.
This wrench works really well for adjusting door hinges. The width of it allows you to tweak one knuckle at a time, which means you can pull the hinge pin out of just one hinge, adjust all of that hinge's knuckles, put the pin back in, and move on to the next one. The wrenches that grab the whole hinge at once require the door to be removed in order to adjust the hinges properly, since the knuckles from one side have to be bent to the right, and the ones on the other side have to go the other way.The dipped handle is comfortable enough to use for a while, and the handle is long enough to generate enough leverage to be able to gently make small incremental adjustments. The only issue I have with this tool is that there's a little play in the adjustment screw. It doesn't make much difference in the actual adjusting; but it gets stuck during use, and doesn't want to open back up again. Since all of the knuckles on a door are the same size, you can just slide the wrench from one to another without much of a problem. When you do need to adjust the wrench, a little wiggle will almost always break it free and get it back to normal.

Works good.
This was an ingenious idea to make a crescent wrench into a wrench that can adjust residential hinges. The finish is decent and the rubber handle is a nice touch. I recently purchased some hinges and replaced some old hinges but right after I replaced the hinges my door started squeaking at the hinges. Upon looking for help on YouTube, I found that the hinges can be out of alignment even on new hinges and thus cause the squeaking. The videos I watched said to tweak the hinges and it should get the squeak out. After trial and error using this wrench I was able to get the squeak out so this wrench came in very handy. I don't know when I'll use it again but it it good to have this on hand and handy.
