This Kanna extract, like most of the product by Amazong Botanicals, is absolutely excellent. It is clearly a very high quality and well produced product. The effects are exactly as I expected them to be and I recommend it to everyone. The powder is finely milled so that it dissolves easily in warm water. It tastes like Kanna, so not very pleasant, but it is an acquired taste. Overall this product works great and I like it a lot!

First of all, the price is okay kind of competitive. This is not the same thing as their extract powder that comes in gram containers. I did not find this as effective as the extract. Definitely ot as strong. As for mood, focus, and energy level improvement, I did not notice much which was a little disappointing. There is no level of alkaloids present on the packaging like their other products. You may have better luck with this.

I recently started studying the possible health benefits of herbal supplements and when I first saw this listing I had never heard of kanna extract powder, so I looked up its possible health benefits. Among the other benefits, of special interest to me is that it may possibly help with cognition and memory.There are 30 grams of kanna extract powder in the pouch, which isn’t a super large amount but should offer a good trial with taking 1/4 tsp daily, but directions say up to 1 teaspoon can be taken (as tolerated). It blends into a glass of water okay using a spoon, better with a blender. To me it has a fairly strong earthy/grassy taste so I am adding to smoothies.According to the listing this product is manufactured in a cGMC facility, which is something I appreciate and look for because it makes me feel more confident of the quality. The texture and color of this powder is consistent throughout without foreign particles. It will take more time to see if adding kanna extract to my herbal regimen improves my cognition and memory but in a week I tolerate it well with no adverse reaction. As always, it is recommended to do your own research.

Easy to take doesn't taste bad for me and gave me and calm energy. I have tried kanna before and this seems to be good quality. I don't mix it with anything but water. I put a little bit on my tongue and just swallow it down or mix it in a small cup. What I like is it doesn't take a long time to start working and the effects last for hours.

I have not tried Kanna herb before, so I was excited to see a small bag of fine Kanna powder, although this small bag does seem to be a lot of servings. The smell is striking and I quite like it. It seems fresh to my newbie senses. I am starting very small with this herb and beginning to experiment, but it was not unpleasant to consume.I like that they list the herb's scientific name (a basic thing but some companies somehow skip this step), and do not like that they list an expiration date -- would prefer to know when it was produced/packaged. The serving size recommendations on the back do seem aligned with the research I have done for how to use this plant.

I've heard some good things about Kanna and wanted to try it. It's said to be relaxing, anti anxiety and to promote well being with mental focus. This looked like a high quality product with purity in mind.Amazing Biotonical's Kanna Powder is a concentrated extract. It completely dissolves in water, tea or any liquid. I just desolved it in cold water.The instructions say to try a quarter teaspoon first. I think that was a pretty low amount and didn't really notice any effects at that dose.I then tried a whole teaspoon dissolved in water. I noticed a relaxed feeling of calm focus and it was a very pleasant experience.It affects many people differently, some people may experience more of an effect than others.I liked the experience. If you're looking to experiment with Kanna, I think this is a very safe and effective product.This Kanna actually tastes good, about like tea but very mild. Almost any drink like tea, coffee, lemonade or other flavored drink will completely overwhelm the taste of the extract.If you want more mental clarity with out any jitters, I would give this Kanna Powder a try.

I tried this product the day I received it. The product comes in a sealed pouch and is a brown, earthy smelling powder that you weigh or measure out by volume and can either put it in capsules, blend it into smoothies, make tea out of it, or swallow the dry powder with a swig of liquid. I opted for the last option, quickly weighing the recommended starting dose and tipping the powder I had weighed out into my mouth, and swallowed. The taste is somewhat bitter, and a bit muddy....it tastes similar to a few crude plant extracts i have tried, and is far from the worst....the taste was very manageable and washed down with just a swig of soda. After about 40 minutes of waiting, i finally felt some mild effects including a little facial flushing, increased heart rate, a slightly elevated mood, and a desire to busy myself. I would say at the dose I tried, the effects weren't much different than a similar low dose of caffeine. I decided to double the amount I had taken the first time for a second dose and after another period of waiting felt a boost to the effect of the initial dose. I have tried other Kanna products from amazon, and they typically have the concentration listed in terms of total Mesembrine content, this product did not give any guidance as to exact Mesembrine concentration or even extract strength, which i would have appreciated. As far as relative potency to other Kanna products I have tried on Amazon, this one is one of the weaker formulations....which may be desired depending on your circumstances. I would probably give the product 3.5 or 3.75 stars out of 5 if I could.
