A good quality neck plate with an included gasket and good quality screws
One might be inclined to think that all neck plates are created equal. If that was the case, you would be just as well off buying the cheapest neck plate on the market as you would buying this neck plate. Let me assure you that this is not the case. Many dealers sell bargain neck plates without the screws or gasket. The gaskets help the neck plate to sit securely during the installation process. They also prevent the neck plate from damaging the finish on the guitar. Some of the bargain merchants include screws but those screws are of very poor quality. There are few experiences as frustrating for a guitar builder as having a poor quality screw snap off halfway into a high quality guitar. It is even more frustrating if the screw breaks after it has made it into the neck. This is a good quality neck plate at a good price. The gasket and the screws came with the neck plate. Finally, the screws were good quality screws and did not break during use. I would definitely purchase this product again.

Very Nice Plate. Screws are Oversize.
Nice thick plate with a plastic backing cushion. As some have reported, the screws are larger diameter than those supplied by most brands. If you are retrofitting you will probably need to increase the diameter of the neck holes and perhaps even the body holes before using these screws.. And of course lubricate them with wax before installing. A few folks have reported breaking the screws, but with proper drilling you shouldn't have to exert nearly enough torque to break one.

It Can't Be Messed With
There are some things we accept as universal standards: 60 seconds to a minute, 60 minutes to an hour, 24 hours to a day. Add to those, the screw hole locations for a Fender-style neck attachment plate: four holes, two on either side of the center line, the body-side and neck-side pair are 2.0 inches apart and the holes for each pair are 0.75" one either side of the center line. That's it. It matters not how big the neck plate itself is, or whether or not it has a gasket. It is useful if the body-side holes in the neck heel and the neck pocket are 5/8" from the end of the pocket, but that's something that can be addressed with hard wood dowel, Titebond glue, and a 3/16" drill bit if not. So-o-o, this Musiclily neck plate (chrome, with screws and gasket) dutifully adheres to the layout that Leo Fender his-on-self scribbled on the wall behind his desk in California. You simply can't mess with it.

BEWARE: Screw diameter is larger than Fender neck screws.
This neck plate looks great but the diameter of the included black screws is SIGNIFICANTLY larger than stock Fender neck screws. These will almost certainly crack a roasted maple neck, and may cause issues with regular maple or other woods.BE VERY CAREFUL INSTALLING THESE SCREWS. YOU MAY NEED TO MODIFY/ENLARGE YOUR NECK'S SCREW HOLES TO AVOID SPLITTING SOME WOODS. IF YOU USE THESE YOU WILL ENLARGE YOUR NECK'S SCREW HOLES AND YOU WON'T BE ALBE TO GO BACK TO FENDER SCREWS.I returned these and purchased another brand.
