So I received this new ironing board cover in APRIL (2025). And while it was pretty wrinkled when i opened the package ( it was kind of shrink wrapped), with some moderate effort and determination, i was able to remove all wrinkles. Used heavy paper clips to pull the cover edges at regular intervals onto the ironing board frame itself.It's unobtrusive and works like a charm. This is an excellent ironing cover. I mean excellent ... it diffuses the heat evenly and efficiently. This is very well built / high quality (made in Italy). Love it. The wait and price were well worth it.

This is my 2nd Tivit cover purchase, and I love how well made these are. This smaller one fits my tabletop ironing board perfectly. Not only is the padded liner also a good quality, but the 3 velcro closure areas and strong border elastic help to snug up the cover to precise board fit ... no wrinkles or bunching oon the ironing surface.There was no available cover size for my 2-sided sleeve board (which also need replacing), but I'm happy to have been able to find suitable sizes for both of my bigger boards. Both covers are made with the same materials and construction details. This is a great company to buy from!

This is the thickest, best-fitting ironing board cover I've ever had! It's heavy duty enough and has enough adjustments that it's easy to get it firmly and smoothly installed, unlike some other products that will tear when you try to tighten them. This is worth the price! I rarely come back to leave good reviews, but this product is exceptional! A+!

Not true silvery slippeey old school silicone like we had in the “60’s, though it fits perfectly, and is the most durable and highest quality cover I’ve ever bought, overhung my small antique wooden board perfectly. If you don’t mind the non glide surface, you will be extremely happy. If only the t-ahirsts and slacks would easily glide when being pulled across the board instead of having to really tug and almost fight each piece to get it ironed. I will get a true silicone cover and add it to this one and be all set for decades. This cover would survive nuclear blast better than I woukd.

I have been looking for this type of ironing board cover for years. My old cover had finally needed replacement after over 20 years of use. I was thrilled to find these aluminum coated ironing board covers are still available! They are far superior to the cotton covers that are seen today. Your iron will glide over the aluminum coating with no sticking. I sew and know quality workmanship when I see it. These covers are very well made and out of quality materials. The pad is nice and thick and easy to put on the board. There is no chemical odor like so many of the cotton covers have. For the reviewers complaining about wrinkled covers - (there are very clear instructions that come with the cover) - all you have to do is iron out the wrinkles and you are set to go! My cover arrived wrinkle free. These covers are made by a company from Italy that has been in business for a very long time. This company offers covers in a multitude of sizes that will work for any size ironing board. These quality covers cost the same (or sometimes less) than much cheaper and inferior covers made out of cotton. I ordered a second cover as back-up so I should be good for another 40 years! Go ahead, buy this cover. You will be glad you did.

It does its job perfectly and fits my old IKEA board like it was made for it. It fits tightly and is even smooth over the edges. The teflon surface reflects heat and repels moisture.The previous cover I bought looked like this one and claimed to have teflon coating but it was only thin grey fabric which scorched easily and was miserable to iron on.This one, with real teflon coating, makes ironing so much more efficient. Totally worth it.

This was a bit more than I wanted to spend on a cover for the ironing f oars, but this product is very nice quality. It’s definitely thicker and feels durable. We iron a lot and I’m thinking just based on what I’ve seen so far this was a sound investment. The straps make it secure and form fitting the draw string makes it very tight no room for wiggles. I ironed it once just see it smoothed out and already see such a nice finish.
