Plenty strong. No vent slots to suck in dust.
Plenty strong. I like that it is sealed (no ventilation slots) — my old mixer sucked in baking ingredients and finally started smoking and arcing at the control switch. Wife uses food processor attachment to make peanut butter — works much better than our stand alone food processor for this purpose. Would be nice if specs described whether this has brushless motor? Could use one higher speed.

Powerful Motor and cool sidekick attachment
I really like this mixer. It powers through high gluten pizza dough. It has an ergonomic handle sleek design. I tested the Brevile and it had more features but only lasted 3 uses. I favor functionality and design over bells and whistles.

I have purchased Braun Multi-Mix mixers for about 20 years. They last forever and are true workhorses. They make great gifts.

Far better than the Cuisinart
Nicely slow starting speed. Full gamut of speeds up to turbo, so easy to program for the task at hand. Reasonably quiet. The chopper is a nice add-on (haven't used it yet, so can't speak to the quality or longevity of the blade). My only complaint is that it is an obvious refurb/return, as I found a box inside that used to contain a Samsung smart watch. I did not see anywhere on the ad that this was not going to be a brand new product.So, despite the new/used question, I will keep this, as the product itself appears to be of good quality. A bit disappointed in Amazon/Braun not being upfront about the non-new status.

Useful
Amazing!I bought first a cheaper one from a different brand, which broke after 3 month.This one is a little bit pricy but so far I have no problems. Very useful and good. Like the different steps of speed!Recommend!

Very good item to make cakes
We bought cakemix and make cake whisk with this machine. I purchased used and now its 1 year old. It worked well. No issues.

Broke within 6 months and bad customer service!
Within 6 months this mixer broke. It took my husband likely 2 hours to deal with the company with the warranty. They kept asking for different photographs and even asked for a picture from the box! We do not always save boxes, but actually had this one. I do not think we will purchase anything from Braun again. Very frustrating and such a waste of his precious time!
