ALPINE NORTH Men's Down Parka Coat

Spent much time looking at coat for my husband who needed and wanted a down coat .He absolutely loves this coat except the fur on hood, which was my mistake cause I didn't think he would mind. Anyhow, promptly took fur off hood, which I had to seam rip off ,repaired seam put back on coat now he loves it more. Says ti's very warm ,loves the length which gives him extra protection, nice deep pockets , zipper a little hard to start, but no big deal, also cuffed sleeve off liner seals cold off arms. My husband is 6'2' 180 so the X lg was a bit large but he likes his coat that way to layer and move around easier on his job.

I'm really happy with this jacket. I've been using it for a while now and it's very sturdy yet comfy and warm. No easy rips and tears from thorny branches like my old jacket. And I like the feel of the fur rimmed hood too. Very happy with this purchase and will probably buy another. :-)

The coat is warm and the fit was great! But the zipper is on the wrong side for men's clothes but is correct for women's coats. This makes me use opposite hands from my other coats and feels a bit weird. Otherwise, I like it and think it is a great buy. I am 5'10" & 160 lbs, the medium size fits just fine and goes down to mid thigh. Very warm but not overly heavy.

It's a really nice jacket. Warm, beautiful color, nice hood. Good quality. I've been in temperatures down to around 5 degrees fahrenheit and felt very comfortable.

It fit my frame well and I'm 5'-10" 150lbs male.. I typically wear a medium size T shirt but this jacket fit well as a large for me. I wear a triple layer base a t shirt, long sleeve v-neck and then a medium fleece jacket underneath the alpine parka and it fit well. The only downside to this jacket is the main zipper, it was a problem from the start because it won't start together easily. I will eventually have to have it replaced if I want to keep using the jacket. Also the inside pockets are small but if I'm going to have the zipper fixed I could have larger pockets installed as well. It's plenty warm as I tested it out in below zero temperature.

Fantastic coat!!! Very warm for frigid winter temps, and excellent quality. Easy care in the washer, and excellent value. Many coats I looked at were twice the price for half the warmth and quality.

Needed a new coat for myself. This is perhaps the warmest coat I have even owned. The wind resistance is especially great. Love all of the pockets on the inside and outside. The option for zip versus snap is a benefit. The length is perfect - not too long. The faux fur hood is a terrific option. All in all, could not be more pleased.
