Great product!
I needed this adapter for my oscillating tool. It fit perfectly and worked great. Got into the corners nicely. The cost was very reasonable. It held up really well so high quality. I would highly recommend this product.

Dimensions are Important
No where does it say that this item is a "3 1/2" sanding pad. This is critical information to know for ordering. Why don't they display the item in it's plastic blister card that it comes in which says right on it, it's a 3 1/2 inch pad. I thought I was ordering a 3 1/8 pad to fit my existing sand paper. So when it arrived, I was a little disappointed that my sandpaper was not going to work with this new pad.Anyways, the pad was really nice so I decided what the heck, and ordered some 3 1/2 sandpaper to fit it. I bought sand paper made by XXGO from Amazon. When I tried the fit, the paper over hung the edge of the pad by about 1/32 all the way around. (See pic)So I thought I would would measure using a caliper the corner to corner distance on this pad, and it measured 3.600 inches. That's like a tenth of an inch more than they say it should be. To add to the craziness, the sand paper didn't measure 3 1/2 either. It measured 3.660, which is a full sixteenth bigger than the pad. Both are advertised to be 3 1/2 inch products. So here is the bottom line. The pad is nice and I gave it 5 stars. It's well constructed and works well. The sand paper being a little bigger is actually a benefit. So, even though none of the dimensions makes sense, it all works together perfectly.

Use only the original
These are wonderful, as they are the original equipment for my Dewalt tool. I tried other less expensive ones but they would warp, melt and break at the base that connects to the tool, after 15-20 hours of use. These hold up much longer in that respect. If you have a Dewalt tool, I recommend only this one.

Doesn't fit Dewalt DOS354D1 20v tool
Not enough clearance on the tool attachment to clear the arbor on the tool and snap and lock onto the tool, it stays just above the attachment point.I seem to be having more and more problems with Dewalt tools and accessories not working or being faulty.Trying to get answers from Dewalt is unsatisfactory at best.Sending it back to Amazon for refund. I looked in the manual and it said nothing, but I found a similar Dewalt tool at Home Depot and it did not have the extension piece on the arbor so I removed mine and now the sander fits,

Works as Advertised -Updated
I was a little skeptical that this would hold up to a lot of sanding that we do around the house. We are repainting woodwork and 29 doors - a lot of sanding. I though I would try this instead of buying a palm sander. It works great in my DeWalt mulit tool. The quality went beyond my expectations. I wanted a DeWalt branded sanding pad, but this is all I could find on Amazon. Glad I bought it and would buy again if I need a new one.One caveat - I used it to sand sheet rock taping compound today and had a hard time keeping the edges from digging into the material. After I messed up two joints I went back to sandpaper and elbow grease. Not sure what was going on. The pad is much harder than my velcro Dremel pad. I just couldn't seem to keep it flat to prevent gouging. Of course on harder material it likely won't make a difference. Also, the DeWalt tool I was using is new to me and much heavier than the Dremel. It will take some getting used to. If not, I'll buy a palm sander for the jobs I was going to use the DeWalt on.
