Great product. Take your time and read the instructions
Very impressed with the results of this 5 step process. Doing my M3 took around 6 hours plus or minus with setup. You definitely need at lest 5 additional microfiber towels if you don’t want to risk reusing a dirty one which honestly is not worth the risk if you detailing your car for 5 plus hours. The polish worked great for minor swirl marks but if you have a darker color car or anything more than surface swirl marks I would recommend you do a buffer Compound that is more aggressive than the prep wax this comes with. The prep wax it comes with is for newer cars, so if your buying this kit and have more than minor swirls then I would recommend also doing the buffer process but keep in mind you will also need to by some isopropyl alcohol to rinse the car with after before applying the ceramic coating, I believe meckees sells a product for this as well but remember if you use any wax or compound besides the one with this kit you need to do the alcohol clean after. Honestly couldn’t be happier with the result especially on the exposed carbon fiber.

I love it!
Best car product I have ever purchased. Some place charge over 1500$ for ceramic coating. It took about 12 hours to do it right but the results were amazing. I'll never wax a car again.

Save your hundred dollars. No refund if not satisfied!
One of the bottles was leaking. There no instructions except on the bottles. The rubbing clay was not useable for me. I got some other clay I had to get the bugs off. Too many bottles. The product is not refundable

Easy to use coating with one issue
I bought the 10-piece kit to use on my new grey metallic 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. This isn't my first new car, but it is the first new car I've purchased since discovering my love of vehicle detailing, so I thought this was a good opportunity to start fresh and avoid scratches and swirls from the beginning.I've enjoyed detailing vehicles for a while and already own a few things that I utilized during this process such as a Porter Cable polisher and Chemical Guys Professional Grade Gold microfiber towels. My go-to exterior detailing routine usually involves two washes (pressure wash first followed by a two-bucket hand wash), claying, Meguiar's Ultimate Polish and finally Ultimate Liquid Wax. I then use Chemical Guys V7 Hybrid Spray Sealant to keep up the shine in between details. In preparation for applying McKee's 37 ceramic coating, I followed my same wash routine except that I used the provided McKee's wash soap for the hand wash instead of my usual Meguiar's Gold Class. I then clayed the vehicle using the provided clay and lubricant, followed by a polish with a Chemical Guys green hex-logic pad on my Porter Cable polisher and the provided polish. All of this worked fine, and much to my surprise the polish was both easy to apply and easy to buff; a combination that is more rare than it ought to be.In terms of application of the coating using the provided foam pad, I had no issues here either. I applied the coating in the shade on a summer day with temperatures in the low 80s. The humidity was a little high, but not enough to cause an issue. As others have suggested, I didn't buff right away but instead waited for the ceramic coating to flash for approximately 30-45 seconds before wiping off which seemed to be the sweet spot. I was able to test the flash time before hand on the hood of my daily driver Toyota Prius so this helped to determine what was best. The one issue I had came as I was spraying on the ceramic coating. I had just finished the application and buffing of the hood and had moved on to the driver's front fender when the spray bottle stopped spraying. A quick test with removing the nozzle and running isopropyl alcohol through it reveled that it didn't appear to be clogged in any way. As I was in a hurry to not let the coating dry on the applicator pad, I hurriedly found a clean clear spray bottle and transferred the coating into it. With this, I was able to finish the application without issue. One side affect of using a clear spray bottle that I didn't anticipate was that the remaining coating (approximately 2/3 of the bottle) ended up drying solid inside the bottle within a few weeks after I first used it. I probably should have guessed that this would happen, but I nonetheless ended up losing at least half of the product.Overall, I would recommend this kit. If you have any basic knowledge of vehicle detailing, there is no need to shy away from using a product like this. It's fairly easy to apply and will keep your vehicle sparkling even after months of abuse and minimal upkeep. Three months later and a quick trip to the car wash to remove dust leaves my vehicle shining like it is freshly waxed. Just pray that you get a functioning spray bottle.
