Creosote Remover, by the bucket, helps keep the creosote away from your wood burner stack.
Creosote Remover by the bucketI heat my cabin with a wood stove, so smoke stack cleaning is yearly.I started using this to help make the clean up effort easier.I ran through a winter's heating and in the summer I opened the top of thestack, all I had was a light dusting to brush off. A pleasant surprise.USE is easy. They tell you how often to add this in a measured amount to your burning coals.that's about it. The reaction to this product to the burning coals is so uneventful, youcan't help to wonder if it is working.Your inspection of the stack will tell you how it is helping keep the stack clear of creosote.Very easy to use, the pail lasts a long time, and it helps keep the stack clean or cleaner thanif you didn't use it.RECOMMENDEDi do not know the seller nor did I get any product or money for my random review250305

Works well
I had a soot/creosote buildup at the top of my stove pipe. After a week plus of using this it has dried up and fallen off. The pipe also had it do the same and fall down into the stove. I have no elbows so I didn’t have to worry about clogging. Now I use regularly.

Works great
Wasn’t able to cut good seasoned wood this year so had to buy too fresh pine firewood. Dreaded checking my flue after fire season but it was amazingly clean. A couple quick up and downs with the brush easily removed what very little ash was there.

I wish I had of taken pictures of the dramatic change... This stuff saved the day...
I had a gnarly creosote problem, using this product cleared the chimney!I burned some wood that was not adequately seasoned. I hated to do it but we couldn't afford a propane fill at the time and the green wood was all we had left. I had visible creosote accumulating in the chimney cap. I had to take a pole and knock it off just to get a little draft/air flow. I was getting smoke back in the house. It was horrible!I remembered that I had used this product to clear up a major creosote problem on a HEATMOR external boiler at a farm I used to work at. So I bought the 2 pound bucket on Prime. I followed the instructions but used the product on every fire, 2-3 times a day. Gradually the stove started drafting better and I could no longer see the visible creosote on the chimney cap. I used the whole bucket before Spring and the stove was drafting just like the day we first installed it.When Spring rolled around I scaled the roof and took the chimney cap off to sweep the chimney... I was amazed to see no creosote whatsoever. I only had a thin coating of light colored ash high in the chimney that diminished the closer to the firebox I got.I would never say skip chimney sweeping but this product is miraculous as far as I am concerned! The price point is great and the product is absolutely amazing! I recommend this strongly with no regrets or caveats. Just follow the directions.I hope this helps you make an informed decision.~MahaloEDITED: 6/22/2020 for spelling

Absolutely works; Recommend 100%
This is some neat stuff. I bought a house with a wood burning stove and recently had it cleaned for the first time in who knows how long. There's some really serious creosote buildup that was real nasty looking (included pics of untreated doors). My chimney sweeper guy recommended the creosote spray and sticks so I bought them.Today I used the stove for the first time and followed the instructions on the bottle. It says you CANNOT OVERUSE so I eventually kind of went wild with it. In total, I probably used almost half of the bottle. The thing is, I started seeing results in just a few minutes. Actually, I heard it first.Shortly after getting a small fire going I let things heat up for a few minutes before I checked on everything again. I was hearing a lot more crackling than expected. Upon leaning closer I could hear the creosote actually hardening and flaking off the inside of the stove. That's when I started blasting everything with the spray. After a couple hours of burning, the side I heavily treated had so much creosote flaking and peeling. Quite a bit actually fell off. The top of the stove was turning to a more ashy/yellowish color after being exposed to spray and high heat. The right side of the flue didn't get any spray and you can kind of tell in one of my pictures to give you an idea that it does work. Now I can easily scrub off a lot that is left, but will definitely have to continue to use the spray for a more thorough cleaning. This stuff is no joke. It just works and I would 100% recommend for light or heavy creosote buildup.

Another TSP vehicle for Chimneys
I started using this after I had a chimney fire a few years ago. (I heat my house 100% with a steel fireplace insert - there's a fire going in there 24/7 during heating season.) I toss a scoop over coals every couple days or when I think about it. My chimney is fairly easy to access, so I can tell you for sure that it does crisp up a lot of the shiny creosote in the chimney, making it easier to sweep out, but it does not work for the last 6-8 feet of chimney, and my chimney is only one story high. After loads of research into these types of products, I've found that they're all different vehicles for the chemical cleaner TSP (tri-sodium-phosphate). All you really need is a tub of TSP from your hardware store, put a tablespoon into a spray bottle of water, and spray the inside of your firebox & fuel whenever you think about it, and you'll get the same results for a fraction of the price. This stuff works, more or less, but I won't be buying any more of it ... if I want TSP infused kitty litter to sprinkle around my fire, I'll be making my own from now on :)
