Dep Sport Endurance Styling Gel, 12-Oz.

I have been searching for this product for years! I used it a long time ago and then couldn't find it anymore. Since I wear my hair short and curly, it was hard to keep a hair do going between shampoos. A damp windy day was a disaster, a humid day with a breeze was just as bad, it meant I had to roll my hair in curlers almost every night. This stuff holds a curl and every morning all I need to do is run a brush through it and I am fixed for the day. One note is I am very generous with the amount I use. I say ' a hand full'. Over the years I have enjoyed many Dep hair products. They work for me. Unfortunately, some of the products have been discontinued. This past summer I was very happy to find the Dep Sport Endurance Styling Gel. My hair is fine and it helps keep away unwanted curls and frizzy hair in humidity while it also gives me that extra hold that I need for my new style. I'm using this product because when you are growing your hair out from a crewcut to long-hair-combed-straight-back there is an intermediate stage where the hair on top of your head sticks straight up and looks stupid...this product solves that problem ...a brilliantine/pomade would also solve that problem...this goes on faster in the morning than such hair grease does...it dries crisp (if you use a lot) and keeps the hair flat even through a twelve-hour day of lifting furniture, no joke

I think genetics has a lot to do with that subject line. Or, perhaps a healthy does of self-confidence and a ridiculously inflated self-image. Who knows?In reality, the Dep Sport Endurance Gel (Intense Hold (!), Level 12 (!)) probably contributes a lot, too.I've used this stuff for years, and am really happy with it. It keeps my hair styled all day long. I don't have to mess with my hair in the middle of the day. It works.Like all hair products, you need to get used to it, you need to develop a feel for how to style your hair. It's not that hard. The stuff is pretty easy to work with (unless you dilly-dally and let it prematurely dry).Once I climbed that learning curve with Dep Gel, I feel like when I look in the mirror in the morning, I'm more pleased than not.(Hair-wise, that is. My double-chin could use some work, but that's not Dep's department.)

it came pretty quick, but product seems watered down as compared to others I had bought.

Its a lot of gel, sure, but I think I ordered this last year and here I am, 11 months later. As for the product, its one of the strongest gels out there and it dries to a stiff, hard crunchy coating and it will hold your hair in just about any position you want (yeah your mohawk should be fine). If a spike goes down, simply re-wet and re-style..albeit a bit weaker..:)On that note (why not a perfect 5 stars), if anyone attempts to rub your hair, it will crunch or break the style and if they fan your hair a lot, the gel will flake..so like Fonzi, "hey!! whoa! don't touch the hair.." /comb /comb

I have been a long-time gel user, and I love that this actually sells as a 3-pack. I won't have to buy any more gel for at least a few months. I have always been a fan of this particular brand, because it provides great hold without having to create a hardened shell on my head. My co-workers once tried to gel their hair back the way I usually do, and none of their hairstyles held up the mine usually does :)

Can I really be the first person to review this product? It's been out forever.Works great, holds well, not sticky, not slimy, wet look or dry look, washes away easily. Not much else to say. Oh yeah, it's CHEAP! No need to spend dozens of dollars on other gels, this one works great.
