I already have the mist maker from a previous purchase so is it possible to just buy the splash guard on its own ?

Will this sit at the bottom of a fish tank roughy 2 feet deep ?

will not work if the water is more than an inch deep or so over the ceramic membrane.

Can you make it one colour?

No.. it keeps changing light softly and slowly, which is great; but unlike other makes, this mist maker is quite loud for some reason, so i threw in the bin.

I see from the video not to add essential oils. but could i use food colouring in the tap water?

Unfortunately not it will damage the element
