Set your feet free with ZEMgear Men's / Women's 360 Minimalist Round Toe Shoes. On the mat, behind the desk or outdoors, set your feet free in feather-light ZEM 360 shoes. Weighing just 2.5 ounces, these almost-not-there shoes protect your soles with soft, molded rubber pads that provide ultimate grip on many surfaces. Molded tech bands provide lateral (side-to-side) stability, and they flex with the natural movement of your feet. Ultra-stretch uppers offer protection, while conforming to the shape of your feet. The round toe design has a roomy toe box that allows toes to flex freely.

Love the Zem shoes.
Love these. They are very comfortable. I've used these for running and got them because my old ones wore out. Too bad it appears as if the company no longer exists. Once these are worn out I have no idea what similar minimalist shoe I will be able to find. These have the thinnest sole out of any others bands I've seen. It gives a truer barefoot feel. I can feel the ground under my feet and that is what I'm after. Please start up production again. I need my Zems. No need for fancy styles. Stick with the basics.

a big disappointment.
Won't buy a second pair. Too expensive for a far from ideal fit. Definitely needs to be available in half sizes. Much too roomy in the toe box and with the extra length due to having to get a full size instead of half size, I find myself catching my toe if I get distracted. Also too much room in the heel area down by the sole. I realize we all have differently shaped feet. Just saying.......for me, a big disappointment.

Toe Seams
I upgraded from Zemgear Oxygen: They fell apart because they are not made for running. But they were really great. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews for the 360 before ordering. I should have purchased it a size larger. The toe seams are a problem. The shoe fits too well: not feeling toe freedom at all in this model. I may use shoe gels at the toes. I've used them for 2 runs so far. It definitely feels like barefoot running. I recommend buying it one size larger.

Great shoes for treadmill
I've been working out with Zemgear 360's for about a year, mostly on the treadmill. I don't know how well they would hold up for running outdoors, but they are great for indoor exercise, as well as doubling as slippers to hang around the house in.I like the minimal style. They are very gentle on the feet, but still give basic protection. As others have noted, they can be a bit snug at first, but mold to your feed very quickly. As for durability, my first pair lasted about a year under almost daily use. After that, I found that the elastic had worn out, and although they were still wearable, the right one kept slipping off my foot while I was exercising. This new pair is also working well though, and I expect it to last about as long. I plan to keep on buying them as long as they make them!

Perfect for Tai Chi
I got these when I started doing Tai Chi. Some of my classmates and one teacher were interested, and they now wear these in class. They were a little tight around the middle, but I found I can wear them barefoot, and all is well. These are ideal for tai chi, the bottoms are fairly thin, and allow your feet to grip the floor. I have pretty wide feet, and as I said before, these were a little tight. I got them wet and put a glass jar inside to stretch them out a bit, and now they are perfect. I wear a 7 to 7.5 i women's shoes, and I ordered the size 6 men's shoe with great success. I did not get the split toe.

Not Vibrams
I ordered this shoes to replace my pair of Vibrams Basilisk because they were more affordable then buying a new pair of vibrams and the reviews were pretty high. Unfortunately, these shoes do not measure up to my expectations. To begin with, the sole of the shoe is so thin, the roads I run on make my feet feel stripped of skin (Vibrams have a pretty thick sole on the shoe). In the interest of combating the pain I experience on runs, I inserted an old pair of Berry Superfeet insoles. While this helped solve the problem of the thin shoe sole, it created a new problem of my foot rubbing along the side of the insole, creating blisters. I will use these shoes until they are worn down, because to be honest, I am super broke. However, I will not buy or recommend these shoes in the future. Also, these shoes are advertised as a one size fits all sort of shoe, and I beg to differ. While the shoes are long enough, they are not meant for a wide foot.

Cute
The shoes are cute but fit more like tight socks. I ordered the size I usually wear and they were too small, so order up a size if this footwear is something you are ordering.
