The perfect minimal wallet!
This is my first review for any of the hundreds of things I've purchased on Amazon. It's that good.I have had the same bi-fold wallet for probably over a decade. I hate sitting on a wallet, and I've been investigating minimal wallets and card holders for years. None seemed to do the trick for me--usually due to a combination of features and style. The more classic style I like means I was leaning toward leather, but many minimalist wallets with the right features are made of things like nylon and even carbon-fiber-like materials. Yet many of the leather options were too simple, and I heard they would stretch to the number of cards you put in them. In other words, if you keep 7 cards in your leather card holder then reduce that to 5, it will be stretched and your cards will fall out. This wallet is perfect. I chose the gray/brown option and I keep the brown color facing outward. It looks classic enough that I don't feel strange pulling it out while wearing a suit. The leather feels nice (though not very thick as, in this case, it should not be), and it's starting to get a subtle patina already. The key feature is the elastic band around the wallet that makes it hold any number of cards and cash solidly. The pull-tab that slides your cards out is something I didn't even know I wanted until I had it. It works remarkably well, sliding your cards out slower than you pull the tab meaning it's very controlled. It's one of those things where you couldn't imagine a more elegantly simple solution.I've been using the wallet for several weeks now, and the size is so delightful. More than once I've patted my pockets thinking I didn't have my wallet, but there it was! I've actually had it crammed full with at least 6 cards, dry cleaning tickets, and an unusual (for me) amount of cash bills (like 5-6 folded). Even with all of that, it is thinner than my *empty* old wallet. And thinness is only one dimension ... the profile wastes zero space as well. I often carry it in my front pocket or sport coat pockets and forget it's there.About waste: One of my favorite things about receiving this wallet was that the packaging was extremely waste-conscious. There was no plastic, no unnecessary tapes, wraps, or fasteners. You just pull the wallet out and recycle the rest! We are attempting the Zero Waste movement at our house, so this was a huge delight. It's not the cheapest minimalist wallet you'll find, but it's made in USA. I feel the price point is just right for a product so good. I highly, highly recommend it!

Great wallet!!
I received the wallet yesterday. At first, I thought I overpaid due to the size of the item and the amount of material it truly is made of (it's tiny). I have to say, even with only a little over a day of use, I am loving this thing.I keep about 6 - 10 bills, double folded width-wise. I also keep about 5 cards, including my license. There's plenty more room if need be, and it does not feel cramped at all. The materials inside are secure, and the elastic band that holds it all together seems sturdy. There is some stitching in both directions on the elastic for added durability, I'm assuming. The little strap that is behind all your bills/cards is a nice touch. Pull on it, and all the cards/bills slide out slightly, making it easy to grab stuff. I really haven't had to release the elastic once I had everything I wanted inside due to this feature. Just like it out a bit and you can pull/push thins back and forth. So, first glance is I love it. The durability is the only question, and I don't see a reason to question it. Great minimalist wallet for weirdos like me who hate to have stuff in my pockets. Come home, dump everything out? You need this wallet, it's pretty rad.****UPDATE****Loving this thing. I have yet to have to really use the elastic band, since once you add the stuff you need, you just pull the strap and grab what you want. As far as durability, I'm not seeing anything concerning. The outer leather has taken on it's own characteristics du to use. It has a nice aged look after broken in and the color accent on the inside really adds to it. Neon green in my case. Highly recommend this minimalist wallet.

GREAT
I purchased this wallet to replace a money clip that has a slot for cards and a separate slot for cash. The money clip has served me well for over 5 years and as its made of steel I don't see why it wouldn't last a lifetime. So why am I replacing it? I always carry my clip in my front pocket. I've noticed that all my favorite pants are slowly having holes worn into the pockets by the steel construction of the clip. I was dismayed because I loved that money clip. It held everything I needed (3 credit cards, ID, about 3 thinner insurance cards, and 5-10 bills) in an extremely compact package that fit easily into the front pocket of even my slimmer cut pants. But something had to change because it was ruining the pockets in all my pants. Enter the Wally Micro. I've had it for a couple weeks now and I love it. It holds all the cards and cash I would carry in my clip without taking up any more space in my pocket. Because the Wally is made of leather its much easier on fabric of my pockets and lighter weight than my old clip. Before purchasing the Wally Micro my only concern was its lack of a separate storage place for cash. I was considering a slim bi-fold wallet with one of those slim metal, built in money clips like this: (Travel Wallet RFID Blocking Bifold Slim Genuine Leather Thin Minimalist Front Pocket Wallets for Men Money Clip - Made From Full Grain Leather (California Desert)) but decided to go with the more minimal Wally Micro because of how infrequently I use cash. So far so good. I don't keep my cash on the outside of the wallet tucked under the elastic band like the pictures show. I tuck my cash in behind my cards and this works well for me. It makes it a bit easier to slide in and out of my pocket and the pull tab raises my folded cash with the cards when I need it. Having to unfold your bills to use them and then refold them to fit them back in the Wally is a little more cumbersome than using cash with fore mentioned bi-fold design, but I hardly ever use cash. For me the smaller foot print of the Wally Micro out weighs this inconvenience. Durability remains a question as I've only had the Wally Micro for a couple weeks, but it seems very well built. The elastic band is very heavy duty and does not make it any harder to get into and out of your pocket. If the Wally falls apart in the next 6 months I'll update, but right now its meeting all my needs perfectly.
