3 x WeinCell MRB625 Replacement Battery for PX625/PX13

This are great batteries! Great for vintage cameras.

I bought this as a replacement battery for a vintage slr film camera. After comparing the old and new batteries i was worried it wasn't compatible as the two are not physical identical however I popped the new battery in and it worked perfectly.

I got these batteries to use in a Minolta SRT 101. This is one of the cameras listed on the package as being compatible and this is, in fact, the case. I popped the battery in and, bingo. The metering system came alive.This is a three-pack. I doubt I will live long enough to use up three of these things. But the price was right, and I guess I really don't know at this point how long I can expect them to last. I remember the original battery hanging in there for years.Have to give the manufacturer points for the packaging. The job of prying open a blister pack ranges from annoying to dangerous, at least for me. These batteries come in a pack that consists of top and bottom pieces that snap together rather than being spot-welded, which makes it easy to open.Five stars for doing what it said it would do with no obvious defects or downsides.

Seller sent quickly and packaged well. I wanted it to test if a vintage camera has a working meter which depends on whether the battery compartment was okay. The compartment had suffered damage from corrosion of an old battery that was left in it for years. I needed the Wein battery because the batteries that were originally used for this camera are no longer made. Installing this new battery in the camera did not result in it working. But it was my final test to see if the camera's meter works. I don't think it was due to any fault of the new Wein battery.

I discovered these after putting a new alkaline battery in my old Canon 35mm camera - and it didn't work correctly! Research found this designed to work with my old camera, and it works perfectly!

Worked great until they didn't! When the first one died after six months in the camera, the other two were already dead, fresh out of the packaging! Tested with a voltmeter, read 0.2 V. I'm sourcing a real mercury cell battery elsewhere.

These batteries certainly are not cheap but do work perfectly for your old SLR Cameras. So they do not drain as quickly as some folks have reported so a decent alternative if you want to use these film cameras.
