What is the difference between the flir scout iii 320 and the scout iii 640 monoculars? the 320 i notice has a faster refresh rate of 60 hz versus 30

I believe the major difference which the web site does not explain clearly and I purchased it because I thought it did do this, you have to add a recording device to the 320 while the 640 records.

Does this work in the fog?

They do not work all that well in the fog. But they will work. The camera sees heat and the fog which consists of water droplets will act like a temperature wall which the camera will not see through. Low light optics and Radar are the best choices for navigation in the fog
