6156 Nebo Slyde Flashlight and Work Light

This flashlight is pretty awesome. Very bright, well balanced in the hand with a good feel. The slide part works smoothly and easily without being loose. The magnet is very strong and very handy. We don't use the slide part as much, but it's great for task or emergency lighting. We keep one in the saddlebag of the Harley, a second in the car. Now I'm thinking we need one or two around the house too, hmm. You won't be sorry if you get this light.

This flashlight is great. I took it on my trip to Tollgate camping and it was great to attach to the metal cot for handy access. We had a bear come into camp late night and a shot of this light out the tent and moving it around did the trick. The slide light is an great option inside the tent since you can adjust how much you want to use. just an 1/8th of inch of slide allows for plenty of light, also like the idiot band to show that the slide light is on.

This has to be the brightest flashlight I have ever owned. Worth the price using it as normal. Having the pull out light is a sweet bonus. Checking oil and other fluids in my car has gotten 100x easier!If you are looking for a bright and durable flashlight, you don't need to look any further than the Slyde! I even have the LED Lenser 7 (which is amazing) and this beats it in brightness and battery life hands down!

awesome light. But I don't agree that it is impact resistant. I've dropped it a few times from not high point. At this point only thing that works barely is main light. I only say barely because the main light flickers now even with new fresh batteries. That magnet on backside is breaking apart. The cob light doesn't work anymore. I can go on. I guess if this is an emergency light at home and your not using it as a main light everyday then you will be fine but if it's a work light find a better durable light. Price is good for what it is

This is the second one of these I have purchased I did like this after buying two of these they both ended up with the same problem. The grounding spring in the battery compartment broke off and the light quit working I tried to open it up to repair it with no luck but I first asked the sell to provide me with return information twice and to this day I have not received and answer from the seller good luck to you if u buy this product.

I give it a four star because the light beam is really good for both the main light and the slide light. Also the magnet is great for holding the light under a truck or car.One problem with mine was that one of the leads to the slide light wasn't soldered right and it came lose but I was easily able to repair it with my soldering iron.

When I received the light, I was delighted, what a sturdy looking light. The slide, the magnetic base, WOW. The Flashlight worked great for about 6 months. I use this flashlight just about everyday, the problem is now that the button to turn the light on/off was not as sturdy as the flashlight. I did contact Nebo by email sent them the picture and all the info they needed and I thought, Oh Boy, I'm going to get my flashlight back to 100%.. Bingo, Wrong. They sent me the wrong parts. I emailed them and told them and offered to send the wrong parts back. As of now a week has passed and still no response. If you use this light once in a while, it's worth 5 stars. if you use it as I do, it's not worth buying for the price. I don't believe it's industrial grade at least not for me. Other good flashlight companies that I've dealt with, you send the defective flashlight in, they repair/replace and send back. The reason I didn't use the other companies, I liked the style of the Nebo. With what they charge, I thought they'd be the same as the other companies. Wrong. I'll stick with my $5. throw aways.I had to change my 3 Stars to 5 Stars. Sometimes it's not the company that's the problem, it's the ill trained person that answers the email. I finally found someone that told me to send the flashlight back and apologized for sending the wrong parts. I did and they sent me a new flashlight. It is a Great flashlight.I want to explain why I stated "ill trained" and why I originally felt the way I did. The first person asked for pictures and I sent Pictures and they sent me the wrong repair parts.All is good now, the company did step up to the plate and resolved the problem.Thank you, and I would definitely buy this again

bought 2 of these before starting a couple of months working nights. was happy with the quality and the price I paid at first. After having them now for awhile they do not work on a consistant basis. Not sure of the problem, but don't want to be caught in a black out with these. they are bright when they do work. Probably wouldn't buy these again.
