In 1892, Milton Florsheim began producing shoes in a small factory located in Chicago, Illinois. The first pairs of Florsheim shoes made by Milton and his father, Sigmund, were a remarkable combination of style, comfort and high quality workmanship. This tradition continues today with the Florsheim family's commitment to producing trend-right, high quality footwear. Florsheim shoes are always available in a wide range of sizes and widths.

Most comfortable dress boot I have ever worn.
They fit like a glove, beautifully understated, super easy on and off. The leather soles are a bit slippery at first. I am sorry they are discontinued; I would have kept a pair for life. Very foolish of Florsheim!

Overall the shoes are very nice; however
Overall the shoes are very nice; however, they are too narrow and small compared to the Florsheim's: http://smile.amazon.com/Florsheim-Montinaro-Plain-Toe-Chukka/dp/B00TY5BYFC?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage The Montinaro are same size as this ones but fit perferctly (even a little loose and simply comfortable). Bottom line, I exchanged them for the 7.5 E size and will update the review once I try those.

Put on Your Dancing Feet!
Husband has been looking for these for years. He loves to dance and wanted a leather sole. He is a 12 3E and they fit perfectly and look and feel like $400 boots. I had to search for another pair in Brown and bought them elsewhere since his size had already sold out on Amazon

Poor quality
First time I wore the shoes.... the leather dye sweat/bled all over my socks. The heels are unfinished, with nails already exposed through. Moreover the soles and heels material is already distroyed. Looks like they were constructed of particle board, not leather.Darn shame!

Three Stars
Nice boot but size ran a little big and heel a bit smaller then expected

Left fits fine. Smart looking boot
I cannot fault the product for being some wha narrow. This is due to an old injury to my right foot. Left fits fine. Smart looking boot. Recommend.

there's flaking of the white soft-rubber like material underlying the leather sole layer
I had an older pair of this same model shoe and that's why I bought a new pair of the same. However, the craftsmanship has declined - the inside of the left shoe, there's flaking of the white soft-rubber like material underlying the leather sole layer, coming out of the seams. We'll see how long this shoe lasts - the old one was good for over 5 years of constant wear.

Extremely classy shoe. Classic wooden sole. Cannot get a more quality of a boot for the price. Can be worn dressy or casual.
