Fantastic value!
This bow is well constructed and accurate, and sits very comfortably in your hand. I bought the 40# version to help me recover after a nerve injury to one arm limited my ability to use a compound bow. It's so much fun to shoot I've decided to hunt with it this year since the property where I hunt has some suitable trees within 20 yards of the trails deer often use. The stringer supplied with the bow is not fancy, but as long as you don't string/unstring the bow on concrete, it works great and has shown no wear so far. Limbs feature a bamboo core, and they give good arrow speed while still keeping noise to a minimum. Shipping took a while from China, but this bow was worth the wait.

Well made, excellent quality.
The limbs fit nicely. I liked that the bow stringer appeared to be designed to fit this bow. When I firstused the stringer, the knots kept slipping. After some creative knot tying, the problem was fixed.I tied a nocking point 1/4 inch above center on the string. They provided a continuous string which wasa nice surprise. My arrows are full length port orchard cedar spined for 65 pounds. Fletching is 5 inchleft wing helical. The wood arrows flew great out of this bow which pulled 39#'s.I measured the velocity at roughly 135 feet per second. I made a silencer from a handful of rubber bands. Once equipped with the silencer, the bow shot very quietly with no noticeable hand shock.I really liked this bow and have ordered a set of 60# limbs for hunting.

Excellent value
I wanted a lighter weight bow for form work and practice. For $100 it's hard to beat this bow.Pros:Price.Shoots well. It's smooth and relatively quiet.Cons:I don't there there was a finish on the bow.The grip is awkward.I reworked the grip and put 3 coats of rustoleum clear on it. Great plains archery has a great video series on YT for reworking a black hunter.

Good looking, good performing, decently priced bow
Just arrived within the same week I ordered. The bow is very similar to the photos, except I recieved black nitride limb bolt bushings instead of brass.1. The bow is lightweight.2. It appears to be well made.3. The limbs are a snug fit, not lose or sloppy.4. A hex key is included for assembly.5. The kit is as advertised and does not include a bow stringer or nocking point. You will need to supply your own.6. It comes with shelf rest material7. The string appears to be an endless loop B50 material.8. The draw weight seems to be fairly accurate. On my digital bow scale the #30 limbs measure (#32 @ 28 inches with them hitting their #30 rating @27 inches), possibly the limbs will soften with use or they could be mislabeled. This was measured using a 7 inch (18mm) brace height. Because it is a long bow, the brace height and draw length have a greater effect on draw weight due to stacking. With a near perfect 7 inch brace height and my 30 inch draw the bow weight is right at #36.9. The bow shoots well, I prefer the brace height closer to 7 inches. I am 6'2" tall.10. The bow is set up to be a take down traditional longbow hybrid. It does not include a Berger button hole or sight mounting holes which is a huge plus.11. The bow is listed as a 60" and by theoretical measurements it is. 25" limb + 25" limb + 15" riser - 5" (2.5"+2.5" bolt location) = 60" length. However the unstrung length of my bow is around 58.9 - 59" tip to tip. Some people measure a strung bow at the string groves which could make the bow measure more like 57.9 inches. Either way its the shortest bow in my collection and shoots well.

I wish I would not have waited so long to get one of these
Simply amazing I probably agree with many of the reviewers that say the included string is just usable at best I mean it flings arrows it's okay I put a Flemish twist and it's all the difference in the world get yourself a 57-in Flemish twist twisted to about 56 and 3/4 so that your brace height is around 8 in at least on this bow and it's magic. My bow weight seem to be just about right I don't have a bow scale so I can't tell you it's 35 lb at 28 in but it feels like my other 35 lb recurve so good enough for me. I'm still using the stick on shelf but at some point I will probably change it out to industrial Velcro for my strike plate just the soft side. I think the longbow is just a bit less hand shock of course you'll have to tune your bow and your arrows to work in concert I would say get one while you can I am thinking about getting another one highly recommended

Limb broke after 7th arrow
Bought two of these. One for my daughter which so far has lived up to expectations. The second which I purchased for my self had the limb delaminate on the 9th arrow. Very disappointed.
