Whiteness: The Original Sin

I first heard of Jim Goad via Gavin McInnes. I was a fan of Vice and The Anthony Cumia show and Gavin was on his network back in the day. The name Jim Goad kept popping up from Gavin so I read a few of Jim's articles and was blown away by his writing.If you're easily offended this book might not be for you. I dont align with the left or right and dont agree with everything Jim claims but theres a lot of truth and good points within this book especially that white guilt isn't productive whatsoever and our media and academia are brainwashing people at an alarming rate. SJWs are a serious threat to free speech and I'm glad Jim is out there speaking up.Hes crude, hilarious but honest. His writing is fun to read and informative and I highly recommend this if you aren't one to easily get butthurt by things.

The author does an excellent job of highlighting mainstream hypocrisy showing how there is an extreme double standard and people are exploiting it not, and actually solving real racial issues. I will admit that reading it I began to almost cry because growing up being taught in history class we were never given any defense of are own people we were always put in a box, you have to believe this or your evil. A lot of Progressive academia are now getting to the point where the old believe that being Racist is just being white not based on actions or behavior which the book highlights very well. Stereotyping all white people as being rich and well off is extremely insulting to the millions of people in the white community who are suffering from broken homes with a opioid epidemic in their communities. The author really said it best “no one likes someone who says they’re sorry all the time”.

Rarely do I find myself giggling into the book I’m reading, but I found myself doing just that on several occasions with Jim Goads “Whiteness”. Goad, you could be a stand up comedian, and maybe the comedian this culture needs at such a bizarre time. Nothing the author states seemed controversial or out of bounds. What it seemed like is someone speaking truthfully about race for once. What a relief. The alarming part about Goads sketch of current race relations is the fact that this multicultural spiritual pipe dream being force fed down our throats will, in the end, do much more harm than good. As it stands, the all out semantic cultural war being waged against “whiteness” will wind up creating an entirely new population of white folks lashing back. How can it not? You want racism? Well, looks like you’re going to get what you want. And this time it won’t be strange marginalist groups of random Romper Stomper skinheads or the lone kook self-publishing his novel about a mad max like post apocalypse racialist future. No, this time it’s gonna be something else entirely. The post civil rights movement and its transformation into Identity Politics required the bogeyman to be still out there. Whether there were or weren’t racists under the bed, the cultural Marxist’s insisted that it was nothing short of fact. And they haven’t quit screaming and pointing at the imaginary racists seemingly everywhere.

Eminently readable, provocative & irreverently insightful. I find that the skillful use of humor when dealing with difficult or black-pill subjects makes it not only more interesting, but also emboldening. A spoonful of sugar helps that anti-white medicine go down. A necessary book for anyone struggling with the most difficult crisis of our time, and by 'our', I mean white people. Not only is Jim a top writer, but he is a great speaker as well. I first learned about him by watching his guest appearances and interviews on a variety of shows and podcasts. Thanks, Jim.

This books tells you about the best ways to hate and mistreat white peoples. Disgusting subject and pathetic.

I’m enjoying reading this book. I’d often wondered where this white privileged crap came from and now I know. I complement the author for addressing what’s been bugging many white folks for quite awhile. I never got any freebie for being white. Ever. I worked hard, used the Gi bill to go to college after I got out of the military and worked a crappy job for 11 years while I dragged to night school. No one gave me nothing. And no one helped me. I also worked alongside black veterans - men and women- also doing the exact same thing. Get out of the military after enlistment expired - work - go to night school. We did it. They never accused me of any whiteness getting me ahead. We were all rowing in the same boat. We all bailed out the water together in a leaking boat. We knew education would be out salvation. At least a degree in something useful like majoring in accounting. Accounting. Money runs the world. So accounting is critical.

There is no original sin. We are all equal. God loves everyone, even White people. White people alive today own zero responsibility for things some White people did before they were born. White people alive today are not responsible for things other White people do. Collective guilt is not okay. One does not say, blacks this, or Hispanics that, or Jews this, or Whites that. People are individuals and all men are created equal. Some people have forgotten the Truth and it is good to remember the Truth. It's absolutely okay to be White. NOT a sin! Jim Goad is a good writer. He is also a White man. And that's okay.

Jim Goad does an Outstanding Job of bringing Truth to Light in his Book; Whiteness: The Original Sin. He speaks exactly HOW we've arrived at a Toxic Level in 2021 America; where White People HAVE to; through Guilt or Societal Pressure; Apologize for the unforgivable Sin of being White. Here's a Tip: White People DON'T have to apologize for ANYTHING to ANYONE.

When people become infected with a disease they don't understand, they are often the last to acknowledge that the problem even exists. Excuses are made, scapegoats are conjured up and no matter how much the truth is spoken, it will still ultimately fall upon deaf ears, until at some point you can't run away from the problem anymore and it starts beating on your front door and demanding attention.Jim Goad has written, what I think, is one of THE most important books a white person could read in the modern era, if they are at least open to admitting there is in fact a problem with race relations in the first place and where it stems from. The fact that you are taking the time to even search for this book and read this review, speaks volumes about what some of the white community secretly fears, yet dares not say out loud. To you I say this, let others do the talking for you, for now, but just know that the longer you stay silent, the longer the abuse will continue.Jim Goad documents a timely and much needed narrative on the state of race relations within the world we experience and see today. The book is naturally more focused on American race relations, but does an exceptional job of discussing historical topics such as the myth surrounding black only slavery, a taboo subject keenly claimed ownership by people of colour. It may or may not surprise you to learn of the thousands of white British people sent to the American and West Indies colonies by the British aristocraty as "indentured servants", a slightly more polite term to describe a white slave. Or that the very same white "servants" were referred to as "redleg" by the black slaves, due to their white skin being burnt in the sun. The very same fields of sugar (West Indies) and tobacco and later cotton in America that the black community claim ownership of and to this day demand reparations and apologies for. History also fails to document and therefore expose the inhumane and barbaric conditions, white "servants" endured, many forcibly taken from their homeland of England and never to return, many either worked, starved or beaten to death. Do you see white people demanding apologies and reparations? Or does it suggest something far darker at work, such as "don't take my entitlement of victimhood away from me at any cost"? And even though people of colour live in a world of unprecedented freedoms, opportunities and even laws to protect them from such childish things such as "hate speech", it's still quite not good enough, white people need to actually feel the ancestral pain and suffering, the pain that wasn't actually inflicted upon them as modern people, or by modern whites. But let's not get bogged down in symantics, because if we actually stop to analyse it in any depth, we find that those very people spewing anti white hatred are in fact the real racists and may then be asked to own up to their own false collective insecurities. Speaking the truth in this day and age, will at the very least, get you cancelled, censored and maybe even physically assaulted, but it doesn't change what it is.It should also be stated that Goad, although sometimes scathing of the black community and their inability to face up to their own issues of violence, colour on colour gun related murder, robbery etc, he doesn't just give white people a get of jail free card. We ourselves need to own up to our own issues, self loathing being just one of the more disgusting concepts pushed on us by the Main Stream Media/Social Media. When a race of people are actively discouraged, sometimes in law, from taking pride in their shared ancestry and even the colour of their skin, it makes me wonder, who is afraid of who? When you take away someone's pride and status, you ultimately dehumanise them, does that make it easier to hate them and ignore the crimes against them, where in history have we seen that played out before?Goad as a modern author, has captured the mood of this unsettled, racially unbalanced world perfectly. He addresses deep seated fears from both sides, tackles the subject of tribalism in an open, honest and unflinching manner, discusses the largely destructive and failed experiment of mass immigration, all whilst never pinning the blame on one group of people. The future though looks bleak, Goad doesn't sugar coat the problems that we all face. Censorship is at an all time high, tensions run deep, maybe too deep, but if there is one thing this book said to me, it's that you can't run away from something that literally screams in your face. At some point you will be forced to admit that there is a problem, but that requires honesty and even being brave sometimes, something that is severely lacking and discouraged in modern society at the moment.When you consider how monitored, censored and regulated our lives have become and even though the Kindle edition works perfectly, I would suggest purchasing titles such as this in physical form. Build yourself a physical library, they are more difficult to delete and less likely to suddenly disappear if someone decides they are inappropriate, offensive or even just troublesome.Food for thought for all sides in troubling times. This book will make some feel uncomfortable, some will feel anger and will refuse to believe the words written on the pages, others will find solace, but indifference is the true sin, not white guilt. To own our future, we must first accept, objectively scrutinise and honestly evaluate our history and past, on all sides. Only then will we be able to move towards a fairer and more honest future for us all, it wouldn't be easy, but if ever humanity needed understanding, it's now. But division is a policy of politicians and law makers, designed to keep us truly segregated and to stop honest debate. I mean just imagine if we put our differences aside and actually wanted to change the world for the better, surely we the people could never achieve such a lofty dream?!

Excellent book. The author is very bold and not scared to tell it like he see's it with facts. The worse part of reading this book, is that it sorta started this way for the Jews in WW2 Germany. They did not just start a genocide against the Jews. They had to condition the masses to hate the Jews first, they had to make it look justified. That is slowly starting to happen to white folks. It is not us that will get it worse, it is our Grand Kids and Great Grand Kids. Liberals are making this slowly happen.

Not a rascist rant, not rascist at all in fact, but full of truth and passion. I have Jim Goads other works and for me, they all have the ring of truth.

Jim Goad is witty and acerbic in equal measure while pointing out the very real Anti-White bias in modern day upside down clown world. His insights are the warning signs on the road to complete white cultural displacement in the lands fought and paid for by our ancestors. His meta-narrative could be interpreted as " Which way White Man?". Well worth the read!

In a politically correct ridden West, our societies are (intentionally) based on self loathing and on never ending apologies from the westerner white to the “other”. In its drive, an active resistance to intellect or stupidity reigns supreme, as is blatantly shown by Jim Goad's accounts.The main culprit of all woes? The West and the white man.From the media to academia, a cloak is relentlessly and systematically thrown on truth which is then replaced by a fabricated and twisted one that addresses politically correctness' needs and agenda. At the same time, any reaction to the mentioned cloak is stamped out or dismissed.It's as if the West has voluntarily ventured into a sort of collective denial of itself that has set it onto a self-destructive path.In fifty brief but meaningful episodes of everyday contemporary life, Jim Goad visits in detail this self-tortuous path.Five stars.
