Works great
Doesnt work for just spiders, rather it works for moths, mosquitos, qnd even crickets. The stickiness works very well. So well my cat got stuck on one! Luckily it came off pretty easily without any serious issues. She definitely wasnt the happiest kitty but atleast she's okay!

Works in vehicle. Spider no more!
I'm sitting comfortably in my vehicle, shoes off, in a teleconference when out of the vent pops a spider, a centimeter in size. I just about dropped the phone, then swung at it. The spider dropped to the floor by my feet but, I could not manage to hit the darn thing since it moved super fast so, I jump out of my vehicle, phone in hand while the other person on the line is still speaking.I had to drive home knowing that the tiny itsy bitsy spider could jump out once again! I tried running the heat in my vehicle on full blast hoping to force it out and when that didn't work I sought out other options and came across these. 3 days later, I snagged the spider. The trap is easy to use, safe, and designed well.

These Terro Sticky Traps Really Work
UPDATE 09/22/2020 Manufacturer has changed from one wide strip of adhesive to four smaller strips per sheet. Seems to catch fewer camel crickets. Still works well. Must be a cost saving issue for manufacturer. Cost to consumer was not reduced. My attached utility room/laundry room had a few camel crickets or so I thought. I wasn't too worried until I started finding cricket poop on top of the washer and dryer and live crickets in the washer tub. Tried a pan full of water with a dish detergent. It caught a few. I saw these sticky traps on Amazon and decided to try them instead of using chemicals. OMG! The trap was completely covered with crickets. I folded the first trap into a tent, like the instructions said. Not much luck. The next one I laid flat on the floor, following the alternate instructions for crawling insects. Maybe that is the key for camel crickets. I checked it 30 minutes later and it was nearly half full. I have used 5 traps and the sticky surface of all of them has been completely full of crickets. I had no idea I had so many. Yuck. I will continue to leave traps down in case any future crickets come in the utility room. I definitely recommend these. They are easy and chemical free. It is gross picking up the trap full of crickets to drop in a garbage bag. Dispose of them promptly because them really stink after a couple of days.UPDATE 08/10/2019 I taped one of these to the kitchen widow because I kept seeing gnats or maybe fruit flies. it works like a charm. Even caught a fly. Definitely recommend these for inside and out. I don't fold them, just leave them flat. That seems to work better for the crickets and gnats.

needs more stickyness
a bit more stickyness would be good. I saw roaches actually claw themselves off of these surfaces

PERFECT DIAGNOSTIC TOOL for rodents, and great for Pill Bugs + Spiders
Really good product for a slab home with spiders. and also Pill Bugs from outdoor landscaping with heavy mulch. The "rolly Polly" pill bugs have been really bad this year with heavy rains lasting weeks. I just cut out a single square. Place it at the corners of the doorway where they're entering. I'll turn them around on occasion so they fill up the trap. And then I'll replace the traps every week or two.For spiders, I'll place them along baseboards, behind appliances and furniture.I've gotten some really gnarly looking large spiders with these specific traps. When I have a basement, I have no problem with abundant spiders. They catch the bugs I'd rather not have in the house. When I have a 70-year-old slab townhouse in the brown recluse spider range? My inclination is to catch them before they make it upstairs.ALSO PERFECT DIAGNOSTIC TOOL FOR OTHER PESTS.In a garage, multiple attics, or basements, these are perfect for nabbing the occasional field mouse before it sets.up shop for the winter. Nobody wants Mice to nest in the walls or inside cars.I actually prefer the heavier plastic trays for diagnosing rodents. And you will need stronger traps for rats. But these are really nice backup for mice. (Like you really need these for something else. But if you get some ice, you're accomplishing that much more) I have caught at least one field mouse on these traps when placed behind my garage chest freezer. (House backs up to a wooded ravine. So it's always a possibility). If you find a mouse on these traps and it's still alive, simply dip the trap into the toilet, and drown the mouse. More humane than throwing a living mouse attached to a trap in the trash.ONLY NEGATIVE I can think of is that, these are attractive to birds.I had these placed very far back in the garage. And I've had 2 separate birds caught on one. So they must smell these just like the mice. I poured vegetable oil over the bird attached to the trap, which frees the bird from the sticky substance.. I let the bird fall off into a bed of ground cover. And then I got out the hose, and used the hose sprayer to drench the ground cover bed. hopefully giving the bird a chance to wash off the oil,.and hang out long enough to safely dry out and recover. Or at least giving it the last best humane option.

DO NOT USE THESE in the south
DO NOT USE THESE IN TROPICAL ENVIRONMENTS! Super cruel to lizards. They die a slow painful death when all they want to do is eat the bugs you hate. I was using these for palmetto bugs and spiders and one day I was absolutely devastated to see a gorgeous skink and a baby gecko both stuck to this torture device. I am disgusted that I did this. I hear ignorant people saying their pest control man gave them sticky traps for lizards in their garages and I always try to explain why they should not kill lizards, and here I was using the same traps indoors not realizing. I am so mad at myself. The food chain is real, and destroying lizards is not good for humans. And it is cruel, inhumane action
