Can the tape be removed in case it doesn’t work for me?

THe tape is hard to remove and reuse. When I balance a racquet, I scotch tape it to the frame until I get the specs right. But to actually play test, removal and reuse is not so easy.

What's the best tool to cut this leadtape lengthwise? With scissors or a cutter? Thanks

I use scotch Titanium blade scissor.
