Correct tools
This review will be updated if and when there is some data on the new battery regarding longevity and capacity. It arrived at 62,% charge and after being installed in my R760 and 3 hours on the oem charger ,read 100%. The installation was relatively easy because the tools packed with the batter were of decent quality and were absolutely correct for the case "y" head screws and the motherboard Phillips screws. The plastic spudger and guitar picks were generic and worked. The metal opening tool was too thick and I opened the case using ,initially , a very thin knife blade. A review of youtube installation videos and the package insert instructions made the battery replacement manageable. So far the battery is performing well and it looks like I'll get a least 2 days use without recharge. This is with having fairly continuous drain with always on background wifi and Bluetooth but screen ( mostly) off. The oem battery lasted 4 years with nightly full charging. This time I'll try the charge to 80% discharge to 20% protocol. ( note: my old battery was swollen) Watch works like new and despite an hour without power ( despite bad battery , I kept the watch on the charger - continous green lite) all the settings ,wifi password, etc. were preserved. If I get more than a year on this new battery, I'm happy and will not downgrade the 5 star rating.Update: Got 4 days i.e. 96 hours down to 9% when I recharged. 3+ hours and green light and 100%.

Great Improvement to My Gear S3 Classic
I have the S3 Classic and was anxiously awaiting an announcement of a Galaxy Watch 2 ( I skipped buying the Galaxy Watch ). My battery on my S3 wasn't making it through the mid-afternoon. When the rumored release of a successor to the Galaxy Watch didn't happen in August, I decided to look at the possibility of replacing the S3 battery. I'm pretty handy but the couple of videos that I saw made it seem as if there were a lot of possibilities for breaking the watch to accomplish this. With my S3 only lasting for a few hours, I decided to try to battery replacement. It arrived the day after I ordered it and came with all necessary tools. The instructions were not bad but it was really helpful to look at a couple of you-tube videos. Prying the case open and then pulling the motherboard away from the chassis were both somewhat difficult as in each case I was pretty sure that I was going to crack something or rip a ribbon cable (note that when you pull the motherboard out it is connected by both the battery cable and another thin and delicate ribbon cable). Although some of the disassembly took a fair amount of force, if you work carefully, they both come free (you also have to be careful when pulling the old battery away from the adhesive that keeps it attached to the watch).Bottom line: After about 45 minutes I had pulled everything apart got the the new battery installed, and the watch booted up and is now working great. After about 15 hours of "always on" use I'm at 55% battery life. The watch is like new again. Assuming that the battery has a good long life, this was a great $21.00 investment for the battery and tools, and actually a fun project. One last bit of advice: When you pull the old battery away from the adhesive pay attention to where the battery ribbon connection connects to the watch. If you're not sure watch you-tube video.

Well worth it
Worked perfect for renewing my Frontier watch which was dying within hours of coming off the charger. Overall replacement was pretty easy. Took about 20mins start to finish. Watch operating like new and lasts 2 days on full charge.

Good product but watch the separation issue
The battery came with the attached power cable, two good screwdrivers of good quality build, a metal separator, and a plastic smudger with two guitar, like plastic separators. Let me caution you right off the bat at the beginning, TAKE NOTE, that the glue that attaches the original motherboard is significant and substantial. Critically important is to DO NOT PUSH any of the plastic or metal pieces in order to separate it without looking to see where the ground contacts are on the motherboard, which are the small little silver pieces in the picture. During the process of prying, the motherboard off, unfortunately, one of the grounding posts was dislodged off the motherboard, and the watch no longer functions with it screen being dark. The battery, however, was easy to install once you pry off the motherboard. The small ribbon cables must be separated gently with the provided pry instruments, from the motherboard (two small and one 1/2” one connected to the motherboard) preferably the plastic one. Once that is removed, carefully pry the motherboard off of the watch base. Again, be very careful where you put the separator, because you can easily knock the ground posts off the motherboard thus in activating your watch entirely. The product was a good product came well packed, it does everything it says it should, and I highly recommend it be used with a lot of caution. Excellent seller will buy again when the next watch a purchase needs a battery. Lesson learned be careful prying the motherboard.
