This is a delicious molasses. It is more runny than most molasses types that l usually get. This brings with it that you need to store the jar on something that can catch the molasses that somehow finds a way of seeping out of the jar.As reported by another reviewer, my second order arrived having smudged molasses all over the shipping box. Fortunately all other items were properly wrapped,and l could wash it off, so no harm done really.Nevertheless, the molasses itself is very tasty and one of the nicest flavoured ones l have bought. No bitterness at all. Five stars.

Great item but comes in a plastic jar. The jar had several dents upon arrival. Amazon had it in a box with lots of room to roll around in. Tighter packaging is recommended.

As advertised. There was a little packing, so reported damage to plastic container was not a problem.

This is by far the best molasses I have ever used. I use it primarily for molasses cookies, and it is essential for Boston Baked Beans. No other brand, except maybe Steens has that smooth, sweet, and not bitter flavor. However, I have to repeat what the top negative review said--my last order arrived with the jar having completely broken open, leaving a nasty mess in the box--the product wasn't even in a plastic bag to contain the spillage. I don't know who is responsible for the poor packaging; was it Amazon or was it the manufacturer? At any rate, I give the molasses a 4 star rating--5 stars for quality and negative three stars for the delivery.

Barely survived the shipping, cap was popped off the jar. Fortunately, the inner seal held. As for the product itself, delicious.

I purchased this in October 2023. I had some molasses already opened and finished that up this week. Today when I went the pantry to retrieve this "new" jar, I was STUNNED to see it was unsealed AND over 2/3 gone. I live with my son and husband and one of them unpacked this and put it away, Not noticing either of the above. I am certain it came this way as I'm the only one who uses molasses or anything else in the kitchen for that matter. I'm likewise certain I hadn't used from this jar before because I rarely use molasses and even if I had opened it (Which I absolutely did not) No more than a cup could possibly be missing. I use it in one recipe that calls for a quarter cup and I make this no more frequently than every other month. I also KNOW That when it was delivered I had a new 16 oz jar from the grocery store.The fact that it was unsealed and most of it was missing is concerning for obvious reasons.I am contacting the manufacturer just to let them know that they have a major issue on their product line And providing them with the code from this particular run so they can track it in their system.The one star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the molasses as I did not use it. But I think it is noteworthy and deserving of mention.If I receive a reply from the manufacturer I will update this review.
