Good for the first year
I'm a 5'3" female with a fast swing (my instructor said to get senior or men's clubs and not women's clubs). I like that these Senior Profile XLS clubs have slightly wide grips and carbon shafts. The set comes with a driver, hybrid, 5 Wood, 5-9 irons, pitching wedge, sand wedge, and blade putter. I found that the 35" putter was too long and so I replaced it with a 33" Odyssey mallet. The other lengths of the clubs are ok. I really like the 5 Wood but I haven't figured out the driver or hybrid yet. The irons work fine. The pitching wedge is probably a 48 degree. The sand wedge appears to be a 52 degree. So I added a 60 degree woman's lob wedge (it's the same length as the other wedges). The bag is ok. It's doesn't have a stand but that's good for me using a push cart. And it's not really a carry bag because it doesn't have a harness; just a single strap. There are 9 separations but they don't go all the way down so the grips intermingle if you 're not careful. The small upper pockets have weird corners where small things like coin ball markers seem to get stuck in. My 33" putter barely clears the top of the bag.September update: I've been golfing now for a few months, 3-4 times a week, with my Wilson XLS set and the clubs and bag are holding up really well which is a shame because I'm really starting to hate the bag. On my push cart, 6 of the dividers face down diagonally so that all the clubs slide down into the corner on top of one another making them very difficult to pull out. And the strap to keep the bag on the cart goes over 4 of the pockets making it hard to unzip them. I'd like to replace the bag but it still looks like new.

Good set for the price
As a senior and a FL snowbird, I play a nine hole executive par 32 course. I play 10-12 rounds a week for six months. While I still use my old Driver the irons and the hybrid have allowed me to improve my short game and cut my handicap by four strokes. For the price I am satisfied with my purchase

Great starter clubs
Great starter clubs, has some nice weight to it. I'm a beginner but the clubs do feel nice when comparing with some others. Large oversized driver makes it easier for beginners.

Decent
Decent clubs for the price. Just starting back after many years. They do the job.

My Amazon.com Purchase of a Wilson Golf Set
While on my trip to the USA from India during May 2017 I decided to purchase a golf set and a golf cart from Amazaon.com . I selected the Wilson Men's Profile XLS Senior for $ 320 with a total of 16 pieces which included the 12 clubs, three covers and a golf bag.I requested expedited one day delivery and I must appreciate that the set and the cart were delivered to me within 24 hours. However when I checked the set it had only 15 pieces,a driver,a 5 wood,a fairway hybrid(with covers) ,graphite irons 5 through 9, pitching and sand wedges,a putter and a bag. On calling up Amazon.com customer care about the deficiency I was immediately refunded $ 30.On attempting to check which one of the pieces was short,I found that Amazon.com had been as prompt in correcting their offer on their website as they had been in refunding me $ 30.I did not come across the 16 pieces Wilson set again. The driver has a loft of 14 degrees which is rather unusual.I earlier had a Powerbilt golf set of 13 clubs and the driver had a loft of 10.5 degrees. Practically I have to either adjust my stance by standing far away or use my old 3 wood for my tee shot. While disposing of my old Powerbilt golf set,I retained my 3 wood. The absence of a 3 wood and the driver having a loft of 14 degrees are big drawbacks in this Wilson set.Still overall I will call it a reasonably good buy at US $ 290. The bag is a problem as its partitions do not go all the way down, resulting in the grips of the 11-12 clubs getting enmeshed with each other. It's quite irritating while playing a round. Another problem with the bag is that its zips close all the way at the top, thus when I strap it to the cart I have to be careful to leave a bit of the zip down to access the pockets. I am going to request Amazon.com to replace my Wilson driver of 14 degrees loft with one having a lesser loft.Let's see if they will oblige me in India since I am back here now. Having bought the set recently in May 2017,I have practiced with it a couple of times and played another couple of 9 hole rounds. Overall I found the set giving me a good performance except for the driver.I ended up with three pars on my first outing with my four ball while playing a round of 9 holes.

Four Stars
Nice clubs, feel good in the hands. Advertise larger grips but seem very standard to me.
