Connecting Bar
I bought the connecting bar and have been using it for about a month without issues. There were no defects that I could see in the machining and the knurling feels good (it's the same as what's on the handles if you have experience with those). I have not had any problems with the handles coming loose during lifts. The only "issue" I had with it is that it is difficult to screw the dumbbell handles into the connector while it is horizontal and the handles are weighted. I don't really consider this a downside though as it means they won't come loose on you while you are lifting. The easiest way to connect them is to place a stack of weights on the floor and then place one of the handles vertically in the hole (make sure that the plates are deep enough that the handle doesn't hurt your floor), screw the connector on, and then screw the other handle into the connector. Then place the bar horizontally and put your weights on the end.I've done a variety of lifts with this bar and I haven't found anything that it didn't work for but I am on the smaller side at 5'3 so while it is pretty much the perfect width for me a bigger guy could possibly find it to be a little narrow for some things

still works for the most part
i got this for my 1 inch adjustable dumbbles, and even tho they are slightly larger then the barbels i have. the set screw helps hold them in place just fine.

Which Dumbbells Fit
Rec'd today. Inside is knurled, but knurling doesn't fit Dumbbells. Also, one pair wouldn't go all the way. Found one pair that "slid" in, not really using the knurling, so really the bolt is mainly what holds it in. Theu seem to be tight enough to use, if I tighten the bolts, which may damage the threads. But the damage is probably where the weights sit (if used as a Dumbbell again), not where the collars go.Size is nice for Triceps Extensions, Reverse and Regular Curls, so OK.

Mostly good
The overall design is very good, with the screw in clamps working just as intended. I was worried at first, but after using the barbell a few times, i realized that it is quite sturdy. For the price of ~$20, it is really good in terms of value compared to other bars on the market; only problem I have is it is quite inconvenient to take off, as one side of the dumbbells that I attach the barbell to will start sliding around as I try to take it off.addition 1 - after using for more time, I am now taking off a star because it is just so inconvenient and hard to figure out how to take off and put on the barbell to the adjustable dumbbells. One side will screw in, the other won't, and it's just a mess for a few minutes before I get it working by luck.

Safety concerns over the dumbbell bar connector
I originally bought the connector so I wouldn't have to get a 1-inch bar back in 2021, but I'm probably going to dispose of it soon.Even though this is made by and for Yes4All, the threading is way too loose on the Yes4All dumbbell set I have, and the screws to hold it in place are not secure enough. I had the dumbbell bars fall out a couple of times while trying to do close handed exercises. Just get a 1-inch bar for your Yes4All plates.

Connectng bar
This is for the knurled connecting bar for people who bought it separatley, just like I did with the bells themselves. Price was actually cheaper this way. Probably, because the shipping box didn't have to be really big and heavy, thus shipping fees didn't have to go up. They definitely built in the cost of shipping.AS for the bar itself, it feels really sturdy. The threaded ends go in about 2.25". With locking thumb screws to try and hold everything together. The entire thing seems plated chrome with decent knurling along the grasping section. Weigh is about 2.5lbs. I saw the post about the plates not weighing what theyre advertised as, this bar might fill in some of that weight. Thats if you bought the bar.

PERFECT
It fits perfectly with my dumbbell bars. I would recommend as long as it’s the same brand and manufacture
