Best steak knives! Sharp, durable.

It’s a saw. Cuts everything: meat, veggies, fruits, saws open stuck cardboard boxes, etc. My old sets about 9 years old and I could buy these one at a time. They are as sharpe as the day I got them. They are now put aside for a day I have company and need a few extra knives. The older ones have a handle that I prefer as it’s wider so more comfortable, with waves as finger grips, but the dishwasher ruined the finish. The new ones cut as well, and the handle looks okay after the dishwasher but the comforts no longer there for a long big steak cutting event. Wish it was still offered for sale at Ace Hardware so I could buy one, or any number I wanted. Best knives ever!!!

I had an old set of Tramontina knives with thin handles that I loved. After 20+ years they needed to be replaced. I've been looking everywhere for the thin handled ones so I can fit 18 in my organizer slot. These are them!!!! This handle is plastic handle instead of wood. Otherwise they seem to be the same as my old set. I kind of prefer this handle material since wood doesn't do well in a super hot dishwasher. They cut great.Did take almost a week longer to arrive than expected, but worth the wait.

Value for money

They have bulkier handles and three rivets. I was hoping to match the Tramontia knives I bought previously, which look like the photo.

We wanted a set of sharp knives, without spending a big bundle. These knives cut through steaks, chops, roasts. particularly good @ cutting the meat off the bone on lambchops, which we have often. so far wearing well with rinse & into the dishwasher

These knives are really great for the money! I have a couple sets and have given them as gifts, and we all love them! They are not the fat, heavy steak knives you sometimes see, but they cut great and stay sharp for a very long time. I highly recommend them!

I had several of these knives disappear over time so I wanted to buy new ones, only these are not similar at all! (In the photo the new one is on the left, and the old one is on the right) The handle is much smaller now and even though it says 'real wood' all over the packaging, the handle looks and feels like smooth plastic made to look like wood. It has no grip to it at all! I've already cut myself with one! I much prefer the old style. It was large, it looked and felt like wood, and had a nice grip to it. The only reason I gave these new ones any stars is because they are still SUPER sharp knives!
