3M Extra Large Commercial Sponge – Durable, Highly Absorbent Cleaning Sponge for Heavy-Duty Tasks

This sponge was much larger than I expected, and it’s quite dense. I used it to scrub my floors and the large surface area made it a little easier. I’d buy a few more of these for other tasks around the house.

The sponge is used to clean woodwork, and it does a very good job of getting stains off of the woodwork, I will probably order it again when necessary

For throughly cleaning floors, this extra large sponge is an absolute necessity...Sometimes you can't just push a mop across a floor; it needs to be scrubbed and the sponge readily absorbs excess water and soap.Moofin is selling a quality sponge and a reasonable price.

Some of you know what I am talking about - and any recent trips to the local home centers or big box stores to buy a sponge has taught that it is hard to find quality sponges. Some might say "a sponge is a sponge" but for others that grew up using sponges frequently came to knew what worked. And when these “experienced spongers” ;-) tried some of the offerings in the last few years (the car wash sponges, the grout sponges, etc) they then asked "Where can I find the good old cellulose?"Some time last year, Home Depot had a large stock of cellulose sponges, and I only bought one, thinking that they were going to be a product they stocked regularly. But when I returned recently to buy another - nada - no more cellulose sponges at ANY stores, and nobody has a clue if they will ever get them back! (lol)Well, after looking long and hard at Ace, Lowes, Walmart, Target and more I came up empty - and ended up getting this (overpriced) model here on Amazon. I did find the "Large" version of this sponge online for $1.79 with free ship (I bought 5), but this is the best deal I could find on the Extra Large when shipping came into play.So for those looking for a good cellulose sponge, you know "Like They Used To Make" this one is close... give it a shot.Thanks for reading.

This sponge is so big! I used it to clean some hard to reach areas on my kitchen and bathroom floors. It holds a lot of water, and it lifts dirt right off. You don't even have to scrub much. This sponge is easy to clean. I just rinsed it in some warm water. This sponge would be great for a lot of household uses. It seems tough, and I think it will last a long time. It had a slight odor when I opened the wrapper, so I would not use it on dishes. It is not for aquarium use (says so on the wrapper). Made in USA.

3M Extra Large Commercial Sponge is the most absorbent I have ever owned. My primary use is rinsing off laminated flooring, to remove soapy water lingering in the joints between pieces of laminate, and reduce the risk for separation of the top layer of laminate from the layer beneath it. Another common use is for washing my car quickly, during which the sponge holds a large amount of car shampoo, for completing wide swaths of the car body and windows, without having to re-dunk the sponge for additional liquid. CAUTION: Even a small amount of chlorine bleach will degrade the sponge outer surface. Soaking it overnight in dilute bleach will end in a pail of spongy goop by morning, barely usable ever again.

I wanted a cellulose sponge of a particular larger size. It took me a couple of tries, but this is perfect.
