It works great. We left it in the round, clear container it came in as a dust cover and protector (we have real cats that would probably rip its arm off). With very little light for power it waves happily away, and has been working for several months now.

I ordered this product twice, and both times the product arrived defective. The first time, the product arrived broken, the cat was completely off the base. I tried reattaching the cat to the base, but it didn't work. I tried ordering again and although the cat was intact, it didn't wave. I found a cheaper product elsewhere (although it looks different) that worked for me. This was a very disappointing experience since this was meant to be a gift for a friend. I would not order this again. The only plus that really warrants the one star is that because it was shipped by Amazon I was able to return them both for free and get my money back.

This is so stupid that it's fun! I bought it to ride around on the dashboard of our RV. So far, it has worked flawlessly, and we have had good luck while traveling.

Worked perfectly right out of the box. I gave this as a gift, the recipient was delighted.

Bought it for my significant other because she always eyed them when we went to Asian stores. She loves it, it's brightly colored and the paw waves with sunlight. No complaints.

It is so adorable, and works like a charm. Get one!

This item has not worked from the time I removed it from its packaging. I essentially paid $12.00 for maybe 3 cents worth of plastic.

The small magnet that passes over the motor dislodged and was inside the body. It was an easy fix by taking the entire thing apart.
