Laptop fits underneath!
I am thrilled that this inexpensive monitor riser can store my laptop underneath. It's a HP, 10x15" and about 1.25" tall. I thought it would only fit underneath if I removed the baskets, but there's actually plenty of clearance. There's about 2.25" from the center basket to the desk and slightly less than 2" from the bottom of the side baskets to the desk. I'm using a wireless mouse and keyboard, so I only need to unplug the laptop charger and monitor to remove the laptop. The side baskets jostle up when I'm messing with the cords, so if I had to remove my laptop often, I would get rid of the side baskets. They're too short to store pens upright, so I just keep my glasses case and a lip balm in there. The center basket is great. It creates a extra shelf for my journal, and doesn't jostle around when I'm moving the laptop. For reference, I'm using the taller legs, a 22" monitor, and a mini keyboard (the size of a laptop keyboard).Note: the legs don't screw in. You have to turn it upside down to assemble, and the legs were falling out as I tried to set it down on the desk. It was just a minor hassle, though, and it's not like I'll be moving the monitor stand anytime soon. When it's time to move, I'll just tape the legs in.

Side compartments don't attach properly and needed modification.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. UPDATE: I bent them with pliers and now they work. Annoying, but works fine with modifications. Original review: The hooks on the side compartments don't attach properly to the stand--they fall off when touched. See video.

Bought because of taller legs / higher clearance underneath
We had a desk on order for our 8yo son that for some reason had a bar running across the back of the desktop - about 5-6" from the back edge - so we were looking for a stand that (a) had fairly tall legs rather than horizontal bars as the base, and (b) would sit high enough to clear that bar.PROS:- This stand definitely met the high clearance need, especially given the two different height options for the legs.- We found it to be decent quality - the mesh was not wimpy, and the legs seemed substantial enough.CONS:- After we inserted the legs, 3 of the 4 would fall out when the stand was picked up; the 4th leg was almost too tight to remove.- The shelf underneath is a functional drawer, which I guess some people might like, but I didn't think it operated very smoothly. I felt the shelf clearance was high enough that it could have been a stationary shelf, and therefore less clunky to use.- The organizational "pockets" on the side also fall off easily when moving the stand. In general it just seems there are too many moving/removable parts on this thing that don't work the best.- It's pretty large - which is not to say it's bigger than the listed dimensions - I just thought it seemed pretty chunky and clunky in person. On the other hand, although large, it wasn't quite wide enough to slide our son's keyboard under it.OVERALL: It would have met the unique/funky need we had with the desk we had ordered. Unfortunately our desk order was cancelled by the retailer, so we had to order a different one - and we didn't love this stand enough to keep it when we no longer had that need. We ordered one that was a bit more sleek and which would accommodate the keyboard underneath.

Functional Space Saver
Great way to organize your desktop and raise your monitor to eye level. Lots of storage places. Two things I didn't quite understand in the initial description was the adjustable legs - it's not one set of adjustable legs, it's two sets with different lengths, so you have two different heights to choose from. Also, there's nothing to hold the legs in place, so when you turn it over or pick it up, one or more of the legs will likely fall off. Not a huge deal because once you have the unit in the desired location with all the legs in place, it's quite sturdy. The price is very reasonable.

The legs are a nuisance.
I bought this to be able to put a monitor that lacked VESA screwholes at eye height. While this ultimately does do that with the included legs, it would be better served if the legs locked in through some means. There is no friction for the legs, so if you ever lift the stand more than an inch off your desk (for cleaning, as example), the legs will all slide out. This is an annoyance in and of itself.I'd have liked longer legs, but I did not receive a whole set of them. My monitor sat about half an inch lower than I really wanted, but it was still workable.

Does what it is supposed to - that is always a plus
Stand raises my monitor off my desk and gives me some storage spots for the little items. The cell phone stand came bent, but that is not why I made the purchase, so I did not rate it any lower for that.

LOVE THIS
I originally got one and decided I wanted another for my office at work. so I ordered another, but found this one online for a dollar cheaper.... but, this one has storage bins on BOTH sides and two different options (included) for leg height. I like this one much better.

Leg attachment does not stay on; it will fall off if you move it around.
The one i received had a slight dent in the inside drawer but it was still doable. It was for my 11 y/o son. The stand is not great. Its not attached tightly & will fall off if picked up to move. I would not recommend this to anyone. Do not buy. I would return but my son doesn't seem bothered. Definitely not for an adult liking.
