I bought these for my book signings/events.I tested them first: One bag holds 5 of my books. Each book is about 3/4” wide so about 4” total. Each book is 6”x9” so you can have actual measurements.I also held a bag under running water to see if they’re waterproof. They are. (In case of rain.) I pulled on the handles. They do stretch but did not break. My books did poke at bag but it just left a stretch mark; it didn’t tear.Overall, they look & feel sturdy, & hold up.
