Works well
Really good. Sadly my Dell uses a barrel power connector, but the hub runs two monitors, usb devices and network connection with aplomb

It works straight out of the box.
This dock has 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB 3 ports, and an Ethernet port. It has a USB C power input and a USB C connection to a PC. Only a single USB C connection to the PC is needed for power and all the signals which makes it ideal for connecting and disconnecting a laptop where it uses all the ports (I.e. Dual Displays, Ethernet, Wireless Mouse and Keyboard). The dock has a power feed through functionality but my laptop complains it needs more power to charge rapidly as the dock must take some out. It still charges but maybe the CPU does not operate at full speed. One aspect of docks I have come across is the USB ports don't always work until Windows has started up so the dock has to be unplugged and plugged back in. This appears to be the case. The USB C cable to the PC can be extended by means of an extension cable if required.

Good but let down by the USB C port
ProsThe build quality is great. The design is simple but professional. The range of ports is great so this is a must have product for photographers, graphic designers and videographers. I've used this hundreds of times and would struggle to do content creation without this.ConsThe USB C input doesn't allow as much power as I would like. When I connect an official Apple USB C cable to charge my M1 Macbook Air, it doesn't charge as quickly as I would like. Also, the USB C cable doesn't work for data transfer. I've tried plugging in external SSD's from two different brands and my Macbook won't recognize them. It's a shame because the USB C port has let down this product.

Still works
I bought this nearly 4 years ago, i use it with two addition screens and a USB mic, and more recently power pass through. It works exactly as intended. There was an issue where the screens would flicker off and on, but i have sorted this now, i think it was something to do with the refresh rate coming from the computer. I also have a Apple Mac, and on many machines you can only have one additional screen.

Great little USB-C hub (MacBook Pro)
This is a great little hub, used to upgrade my home office setup.I currently use the HDMI, Ethernet, PD Passthrough and USB ports and they have performed flawlessly.I tested the data transfer speed of Ethernet with both this and direct into my Mac and there was no loss of performance through the hub.For those with a MacBook Pro running an M1 chip, it is absolutely fine as that is my personal computer and my work the same but with Intel which is also fine, no problems with either at all.For those wondering regarding how hot it runs, yes it does get warm (as would be expected) but nothing remarkable and certainly not too hot to touch (far from it).Would I buy again, absolutely yes and without hesitation. It is well built, backed by the Anker name and simply does what it says on the tin (or box).

Immediate Results
This is a review less than 24hrs after getting it. I bought this because my new work laptop only has one HDMI port & want to use it on my dual HDMI monitors & to switch from work to home, using the same peripherals & ethernet. I anticipated having to do some fiddling with the work laptop, but no. It plugged into the Thunderbolt port & identified the screens. Switched back to my home PC & everything is the same, immediate success straight out of the box. So far, so good. It won't need to move too much, so should be good for a while, I've got some other Anker products & they're all still working well.

I'm stuck with 2 that don't work
I ordered two of these to use in a setup that had each hub on a different laptop and then wired to a KVM switch. This worked on and off, frustratingly, for the last 2 months, and within the past 2 weeks both have outright failed and I cannot get them to connect anymore at all. I have now got HP hubs in the setup and it's working perfectly. The first time I plugged one of these hubs into my personal laptop I lost the motherboard and that had to be completely replaced. That laptop is 2 years old. Neither the techs replacing the motherboard or I can say it was definitely this hub. Since this is outside of the 30-day return window I'm stuck with them. I could waste more of my time, after troubleshooting my entire setup for the past two weeks, and get these both repaired somehow through Amazon's channels. I do not have the emotional capacity for that right now. I'm done with them. I'll send them for e-waste recycling. Hope this review helps someone on the fence head to the other side.

Compact but serious functional issue
It was heavier than expected but looked quite solid and compact with a good spacing of ports.Where it fell down immediately was functionality.Plugged into it, I have a USB 2 wireless mouse dongle, a HDMI to a 4k monitor and a USB C charging cabling to a Google Pixel and nothing more.Plugging in or unplugging your phone from this combination causes the video connection (I even think the whole device, as the wireless mouse becomes unresponsive) to reset and so you laptop cycles through the external video connection disconnecting, then connecting again. This occurs every time you plug or unplug your phone from the connected USB C cable. This is not practically functional at all.
