This always remind me of my childhood. I usually prepare with water and no calorie sweetner, no fuss preperation. Economical and satisfying everytime. The 1 minute version isnt always avaliable in my area. And the price is at least 70 cents less than store bought one

Oh man. This is the stuff! Growing up, we'd get this for breakfast before school, lovingly made by Dad, complete with a little milk, butter, brown sugar and raisins. We often begged for Cream of Wheat it's so darn good. As an adult, getting to enjoy this again, made similarly, is quite a treat. Beyond happy finding it here.

I am 68 and have been eating this version of Cream of Wheat since I was a baby after graduating from boxed baby cereals. Because I have Osteoporosis, I am always happy to find foods that have Calcium in it, and the one serving size, even without milk has 120 mg! I have sensitivity to dairy, so the rice milk I drink and use to make the Cream of Wheat half and half with water, I get 270 mg of Calcium. It is a good thing to eat when you are not feeling well also, and at night for a snack (I put a little brown sugar and Smart Balance Margerine in it and then it is so yummy). I make it in my 1,000 Watt microwave oven, and it turns out good at 1 min on high, stir, then 30 seconds on high, stir, then 15 second intervals stirring until it looks the consistency I want. I am so glad to have found it on Amazon. I find it hard to find in the grocery stores near my home.

Got this as I was nostalgic for this taste fromMy childhood. It did not disappoint! Every bit as good. I use half water and half milk (or almond milk) and 2-3 Splendas. Yummy !

Product is good but found it odd that it's just poured into box ,isn't in sealed plastic bag inside the Cream of Wheat box for freshness ,good thing there wasn't any bugs in it.
