I have worked in the automotive industry for 15 years and did lots of research on Bluetooth devices and this seemed as the best
Works seamlessly with my 2009 Impala after 3 months. Not sure of those who have "problems" with this unit. I have worked in the automotive industry for 15 years and did lots of research on Bluetooth devices and this seemed as the best value. As with anything remotely technical some just cant outsmart the device. Easy to install and never have had to re-pair my android cellphone. It automatically detects each time I enter the vehicle and has awesome sound quality. The only time sound is affected is when handling the phone, but you shouldn't be texting and driving anyway. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to charge using the supplied USB port, but that might be my phone settings. Love it!

works great. Bluetooth audio sounds like it's plugged in with ...
All the negatives I read here on this product perhaps the people don't know how to properly hook up the device. I hooked it all up this evening and tested all functions, works great. Bluetooth audio sounds like it's plugged in with an AUX cable. Once you get a grasp on how it operates it's great. One tip for those who say it's hard to push the head unit back in because of the wires... You have to run the cables for the box BEHIND the metal frame and put the iSimple box in the gap to the top right of the radio. The new cables should now not interfere with putting the radio back in.

I love it but it could be better and there are no directions on how to break down your car to install good thing i work on cars and use to doing this or i would be lost. Ok so about the isimp. Its great but finding song through fact. Radio is something u will have to get use to but i use my ipod which if i have to find a song it will let u use it in both manners. also streaming songs dont work so good maybe its my phone but theres minor popping sounds through out each song also it runs slighly lag ( the song) sort of a drag for BT. ( found out its my phone ipod runs great through BT no lag) Dont rec. Using BT( only for calls.or ipod like device) The usb is great route through arm rest under cup holder great spot there is cuttng involved but happy with results.very profess look. Phone works great make sure to install reset switch. If something fails u would want to have this handy in a place not seen but easy to access without pulling the car apart again i installed in side dash cover so all i have to do is pull the cover off on pass side, with mic running up the same way to rear view mirror. The hardest part of this was finding how to squeeze. The radio back in i rec. Pushing the wires in the slot near glove comp. And remover the white sponge damper. Great product and but not enough instructions. 4* for that purpose . Overall i love it better than cds and that rear aux set up. Just takes some getting use to. Took me and hour did at work in between working .

Works crap with a factory Nav
Garbage if you have a factory NavOk so i have a 2007 Silverado with a factory Nav Isimple have told me it works with the factory nav units up to 2010 i think it is. Anyway yes i do know what i'm doing with this units and i have another unit in my older chevy suburban also which does work great. Anyway, im on my second unit for my 2007 i am only on the second day now since its been installed. and it runs as crap as the first one. the most annoying issue is streaming music on bluetooth, the music will skip like a cd with a scratch does this about every 20 seconds, ive tried other phones etc. second issue. it plays games with the radio. when i turn the truck off, then when i come to turn it back on the radio will not turn on, only way is by resetting the module, there is other glitchy issues in the touch screen menu. I think if you do not have a factory Nav you will be fine, but seems these units do not like the factory navs, i'm at a loss as i don't know what to do, i want it to work as these are a great unit. thats why i brought it as my other unit works awesome in my suburban, just this one not so much, they need to bring out an update, surly i havent brought 2 dud units

Ipod works fine when plugged in with cable
It's a little buggy. Sometimes the sound cuts out a little or it disconnects from bluetooth audio. Plugging in a USB doesn't really work for some reason it gives me problems. Ipod works fine when plugged in with cable. I have it in a 2007 GMC Sierra.
