Your going to need lots of AIR to make this work good 150 PSI
SO ONE BIG Thing, Air.... Yes Air this is a Heavy duty Nail gun You need lots of Air. I found that same problem as many reported miss fires, having to reload I had a large volume tank ( Check) I had nice hose ( check) I had 100 PSI ( WRONG) I even sent it into the factory for a FIX, Sent it back to me I was like dang still a problem Then I happened to use my 150 PSI Tank max it out Green Light GO! I found that 150 PSI is required and all my problems went away It sounds like a rifle shooting and drives the big 5 1/8 in nails into hard White Oak no problem YOU MUST HAVE LOTS of AIR, Big Hose and around 150 PSI.. oil it twice a day if using a lot Yes It is Very Heavy and so it the large air hose but this is Timber and Lumber Jack Work building big 12 x 12 timber and 6x6 connections I was using this to tack in place before I drilled in my 12" bolts also to attach my 3in lumberOh and once you drive one of the 5 1/8 ' nails into oak, It is not coming out. (Have to cut the nails with a Sawsall) I have shot several thousand nails with this gun and getting ready to start my next two log cabins was getting ready to order more nails and saw lots of people complaining so thought I would share.

Awesome Nailer
For half the price of the Fasco jumbo nailer this nailer knocks it our of the park. All I have used it for is 20d for post frame but works like a charm. Only down side is I can only find nails for it from fasco and they are not cheap.

It is a beast!
It is heavy but it sure beats driving pole barn nails all day. It was awesome for installing the roof perlins on a post frame building. Also great to have for making repairs or modifications to old barns.

Won't nail
I am building a barn with real 2" X 6" studs. Consequently I needed a nail gun that would shoot longer nails. I purchased this device, thinking the other reviews wouldn't apply to me. Boy was I wrong. This is a HEAVY gun, I'm not a muscle bound 20 year old. I'm standing on the top of a ladder, nailing the top plate on a 12' wall and the stupid gun won't nail. I got the trigger where I'm supposed to push the gun into the wood, then pull the trigger. Sometimes it took 7 to 10 tries to get it to shoot. Ditto when I'm nailing a wall together while it's laying horizontal. I'm trying and trying and trying to get the gun to shoot and it won't.Also, there is no depth adjustment. There is no sensitivity adjustment. I called their 1 800 line and spoke to the corporate customer service rep. He was clueless and said a product specialist would call me. That never happened.I returned it (thank you Amazon for free returns).I ended up buying a Everwin FSN160 Plastic Collated Jumbo Nailer, 4” to 6-1/4” from Nail Gun Depot (Amazon doesn't sell this product unfortunately). It will shoot a wider range of nails, has adjustable depth and I haven't had a mis-fire yet. More expensive but well worth the money.

Hopeful that others had better results.
Finally was able to use this nail gun, building a pole building. Nail gun does not fire half the time when compressing the safety, sometimes having re-slide the nails. Also, after driving 3-5 nails, I now can here a small air leak internally. For the money, this is not what I expected.
