Project X by Schmidt Brothers SPXBS13 13 Piece Cutlery Set, Black

Arrived on time, unfortunately with a crack in the corner of the plexiglass by the screw. The knives "looked" really nice and the design was cool, but I returned them because the quality I was looking for just wasn't there. The return process was painless.

Have had these two weeks, so far very happy. The knives are very sharp, lightweight and well-balanced, which makes preparing anything a pleasure (even mincing herbs). I was skeptical about the handles, however they almost feel like horn, and are getting burnished with use to a very attractive finish.Bought some cheap knives when I first moved to graduate school, never again. Blades wobbled and eventually broke. I am used to Henkel knives back home, which are fantastic but pricey. This set is very good quality for the price, for someone who wants to enjoy cooking but has a budget. Have heard a lot of good things about the longevity of this brand, no personal experience yet.

I don't think these are made by Schmidt Brothers. I got mine and the magnet for the knifes was installed upside down. Really questionable workmanship. Returned.

Love these knives. These are super sharp and extremely well packaged. My mother has a JA Henkels $600 set and likes these better.

About 1 year and a half of usage and it broke like cheap knife bought at the supermarket.
