This particular style does not have spikes
We ordered this this twice thinking maybe the spikes were accidentally left out of the box. We returned and asked for a replacement pair stating the issue. The second one was the same way. We contacted New Balance they stated this particular style comes with either the spikes or without. The pic description shows it to have spikes but 2 orders later and still no spikes. The shoes itself seems to be of great quality, fit is as expected; but this does not serve the purpose for which spikes are needed. Needless to say we returned the second pair for a full refund as we cannot use this shoes without the spikes.

These do not have spikes!!!!
Do not buy these... I received spikeless spikes even though the picture shown on amazon has metal spikes. These shoes have rubber looking spikes. These are the wrong shoe!!!! Super frustrated. I should have read the other reviews before I purchased them.

Careless Amazon picture and listing wrong product not UXCS7BW2
I want my star back because Amazon has this incorrect! NB sells this XC spike in two versions.UXCS7BW2 with metal spikes and UXCR7BW2 as spikeless. Amazon pictured the spike version, and I received the spikeless shoes just like other buyers. I should have listened to the reviews. Should not sell what you don't understand.

FALSE ADVERTISING
The photos presented clearly show that spikes can inserted into the shoe however there photos are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!! They are rubber spikes that cannot be taken out. And if you scroll down to the questions and answer section they state the shoes come with spikes and a wrench however this is also FALSE. I’ve never been so disappointed in such a high brand before. I wish I could give them no stars but unfortunately I cannot. I’m 100% returning the shoes and never buying from New Balance again.

1 star because Amazon has this incorrect! Just talked to NB. NB sells this XC spike in two versions.1 with metal spikes and 1 as spikeless/small rubber nubs. Amazon pictured the metal spike version, and I received the spikeless/rubber nub shoes just like other buyers. I should have listened to the reviews.

FALSE ADVERTISING
This is false advertising at its finest! The first picture is the “spiked” shoe we received and the second picture is the image presented online. DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME THING! And the product details say nothing regarding rubber spikes instead of metal.
